BIG shoutout to ryanm for saving me and my friend from getting ditched no less then twice by the same person! Ryanm - you're my hero, thanks so much.
Also nice to finallly meet you Graham after so long lol
wikkid set by edgar V, i died @ as the rush comes.
Unfortuantely me and my friend lost the TA crew for a while after everyone went to the bar and we somehow lost hardcore trancer for a while so I guess we didn't get to meet everyone. Next time I'm gonna try and be at the meetup (which I was supposed to be at except I got ditched, thankfully ryanm saved our asses).
Thanks again man!!!

So I was sitting at home...its 6pm, im sick and a little tired...and thinking 'maybe i shouldn't go to edgar v tonight'....but i've had a really shitty week so i decided to go.

Met Aaron (Diginut) on the busride there and later with Graham (Highroller) and got to country style meetup around 10:45 ? ...very small turnout...but many new faces which was cool. headed to viva around 11:30 and it was dead! i mean like 5 people on the dancefloor...ok whatever met some TAs inside and a bunch of you ran off to the bar

Rosati was a good warmup. Played some nice tracks...HEAVEN SCENT !!!!!!!!!!...but used a little toooo many flangers imo but whatever...then came edgar v...played an alright set, nothing wowed me except Motorcycle which was when I lost my voice . disliked how the kicks of every single track played was tweaked to sound the exact same as every other track. It sounds good when transitioning the track but ocassionally you gotta change it up a litte c'mon (it might have been viva's uber-bassy sound system that night tho i dunno...thought i was going insane listening to one long 4 hour track haha)

Next was Mark Oliver. Played some good stuff. I liked 3rd earth...couldn't stand satisfaction ...ended the night nicely tho

so yeah. it wasn't a great night for me by any means, trance really doesn't do it for me anymore. Only saw half the TAs for about 2 minutes...i guess they were at the bar most of the night...

Shoutouts to diginut, highroller, mosaic, emono, magetonium, psychosamatica, tatgirl, RJ, stereoprincess, trancenerd, sober_24_7, julie, DiS, ryanm, hardcore_trancer, hordash, itikia,
and anyone else that was there that i met and didn't meet

Matt: awseme pics and vids btw...plus many pics of me...thats bonus!

- Kevin

DJ Alfa... "Walter - 2/10 at the beginning he played some really shity stuff, the kind of stuff z103 would play but finished off nicely towards the end. Used a lot of rookie DJ effects "

Yup... I played some lighter stuff earlier in the night... As for the Z103 comment... Only if Z103 take there ears out of their ass... The first hour or so would be wasted on knocking out bombs. Id rather keep it clean and create some interest on the floor rather then scare a crowd with hard beats off the start... do you agree? Consistency is difficult when your warming up a crowd for a guest... I crossed some varied musical styles and the crowd definitely warmed up to it... That you cant deny... I new Edgar was going to come in with a slightly more proggy sound to open his set and wanted to leave the crowd with a contrast... Fortunately, I welcome critics opinions and yours... and yes I do luuuuvvvv that flanger... best thing since sliced bread... Nuff said and I will keep my finger away from that button... To the all who came out and continue to come and enjoy my sets... thanks... Alfa... come by Viva again and hopefully your opinion will be better

Some other notes

The Chilli Pepper track was
RHCP vs The Draggon - By the Way (Heavy Load Mix)
For the girl with waters in hand... The Tomcraft - lonliness Mix was by Benny B

That By the Way track was dope sauce!

don't let people get to ya... some people need to just chill out a bit, and stop taking the music too seriously. You are out to have fun people!

Except Walter, I must know... wtf happened with that one mix? Just sorta cut out, then this new bass kick comes in from some other song all of the sudden? Being a DJ myself, I know that shit happens, but I must know: what happened?

Walter, I really enjoyed your set man.

Mosaic

I really dont know what it was... At one point we had an issue with the board and the Temperal crew adjusted the problem quickly... I didnt think anything made it out to the rig... Ive heard the night today from the MD's and it sounded realy tight... I will give it another go in the morning... Thanks

The one start and stop mix that Walter did was a result of the headphones which had stopped working. I had to run and get technical help, as I thought for a moment we would have to replace the mixer!

Thank god the tech guy figured out the problem; made me sweat for a moment though....

yeah, I guess I was kind of harsh in my review, I apologize for that, but I was just expressing my opinion. I understand that you were trying to warm up the crowd, but some of those tracks were way too soft that I wouldn't play at a trance event, those tracks I'd play at a house party but not at a trance event. Your set was getting better and better towards the end and I actually enjoyed the last hour or two of your set.

so I give you 2/10 for the start
and 8/10 for the end
sorry that I was too harsh, I meant no disrespect

Talking I feel like a part of a new family now ...

Dis, thanks for that review of myself, I surely enjoyed the party. Thnks for the greeting - hopefully next time I'll make an even better shirt (dont want to wear the same one to all events) ... hehe ;-)
Mosaic, I owe you ... and dont worry, I have a good memory, sometime next month, hopefully I'll be a be to attend a T.O. event and pay up. Thanks for chilling with me at the party! It was great! P.S. - whenever you get the photos ready, I'd love to get some d/l'd. Incl. a better pic of me, cause I dont really have any PC pics. Thanks a LOT in advance!!!
Mr. Edgar V sending you my respects, you were great, sorry I doubted you. By the way, I think I was one of the few people here who actually liked the tunes spun by the warm-up DJ. I actually got to talk to him before the show. He was in Benz by Viva at around 10 pm and I got to talk to him. I Was very impressed.
Walter - I was the guy in the silver Sportage who talked to you before you went in. You truly had some amazing track selections there and you were pretty good, better than me 100 fold. Especially when you threw in that awesome mix of Beachball
Tatgirl - Thanks for your great hospitality and taking some pics of me and stuff. Like I said, you did more photographing than trancing ... and thats not healthy! I'm j/k, LOL. ;-) Great to meet a well known TA.

Rabbitjoker, emono, oliver, shaya, desidel, diginut, and others at the party who I might've omitted - thanks for greeting me, supplying all the info and having fun alongside me, it was totaly cool, I'll try to remember you all better the next time, I just had too much stuff to remember from that day, and I am still gathering myself together ... LOL. Everyone was so great and so nice to me, I am just flattered ...

I'll notify you guys beforehand an event for the next party I'll be able to attend, cause due to my current cash-strapped situation and with no permanent tranceportation I am not walking 100 km to the club... LOL

Cool WHOA, now how did THIS track get in the list?

[COLOR=skyblue] Whoa, people, someone placed a track Afterburn - Fratty Boy in the list, and not only is that track was NOT played at Viva that night, but that is the name of the track that I was looking for a while ago that I heard on the radio ... LOL. Thanks a lot. AWESOME track.
