If you have proper id3 tagging on all your files all you have to do is load up winamp 2.xx sort by name and then click on the 4th button to the right in the playlist, click on it again then a menu box will give you the option to "generate html playlist".. cut an paste that into a post and viola!

I've been listening to Jean Michel Jarre since 1982 , so believe me I know that . He was the reason why I got into electronic music . I have "The Concerts in China" double CD and the title of the original version of this song is : Souvenir Of China , as it does on my copies of "Hong Kong" double CD , "The Essential" CD & "In Concert Houston/Lyon" double CD (I recommend all of them) . A friend of mine brought a promo cdr to the club more than a year ago that he got from Europe and it was labeled Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine (Shane 54 Remix) , I checked on Shane's web site and you're right , it was mislabeled and as I was told many times it's not uncommon for the promos to be mislabeled as unfortunately some of them are fake . So it was the person's that made the cdr mistake . Thanx for the updated info , I should have known better to double check , especially since I had aprox. a year to do so . If you're a fan of Jarre and like new versions of his songs check out DJ Quicksilver's remix of Equinoxe 4 , it sounds absolutely amazing !

I have "The Concerts in China" double CD and the title of the original version of this song is : Souvenir Of China , as it does on my copies of "Hong Kong" double CD , "The Essential" CD & "In Concert Houston/Lyon" double CD (I recommend all of them) . A friend of mine brought a promo cdr to the club more than a year ago that he got from Europe and it was labeled Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine (Shane 54 Remix) , I checked on Shane's web site and you're right , it was mislabeled and as I was told many times it's not uncommon for the promos to be mislabeled as unfortunately some of them are fake . So it was the person's that made the cdr mistake . Thanx for the updated info , I should have known better to double check , especially since I had aprox. a year to do so . If you're a fan of Jarre and like new versions of his songs check out DJ Quicksilver's remix of Equinoxe 4 , it sounds absolutely amazing !

Shane 54 originally intended the tune to be a remix of Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine. However, Fire & Ice didn't like the remix (which isn't that surprising) so he released it as a seperate "cover" of the Jarre track. I don't like his mix anyway but, incidentally, Plastic Angel's Stargaze - Souvenir Of Ultra turned out quite nicely.

As a matter of fact , I do like Fire and Ice - Souvenir De Chine (Original Mix) better than Shane 54 - Souvenir De Chine (Club Mix) .
