16. Paul van Dyk - Nothing But You (Original Mix)

Time to stop playing these now, Paul. Seriously. They were only average at best (except "For a Revolt" which is just plain wank) to start with, but for fuxache its time to bin these.

I agree on For A Revolt,it is just plain wrong to mash up those two tracks in the first place.Carerra 2 hasn't been played for a while now,so I guess Paul wanted to play it again since he likes it.It didn't sound half bad here for some reason, and this is coming from a guy who does not like this at all. As for Nothing But You,this is probably to promote some of the tracks on his album,as the original version (which is the only version of it that is any good after Faithless' Remix IMO) is going to be on the album.

yeah, he always plays Three Drives - Carrera 2 (Nu-NRG Remix)
and Paul van Dyk vs Marco V - For A Revolt

I can't stand Carrera 2 (Nu-NRG). In fact I hate everything from Nu-NRG except dreamland is well done. Carrera 2 (Orignal mix) is fantastic - the remix is a shame (IMO of course)

Well said, but this is still a great set nonetheless

17. Paul van Dyk - Connected (Original Mix)

For those that really keep up with PvD, this is the unknown track from the Club Okyo set last november.

I'm wondering how it got Id'ed ... is there a scheduled released for it or some news out on it ?

one time he corrected the spin of current disc, but you would never hear this live. and if you compare it with other dj's, it was PERFECT!

No, the Tiesto set was one from the Trance Energy cycle and Energy 2003 was held in Switserland. 2 totally different concepts.

*biggrins* the energy festival in switzerland (zrich) is the biggest party (20'000 people) after the streetparade, not a club . i'm not sure, but it could be that tiesto was there in 2000..

paul van dyk and ferry corsten were there in 2000. was my first megarave, made me become a raver

Just wait for a while until the burn-window appears, happens to me as well.

btw: pvd didn't play in switzerland since summer 2000 and the swiss partypeople are not very educated about (good) trance so they didn't know these tracks almost... so, why not play them?

uuuuuhhhh, that's hard. but it's more or less right. at the moment, hardstyle is very popular, but not for everyone! i remember the time, when the real trance (with the beautyful melodys) was very popular. i think, 2 years ago, we had also this "realtrance". the people will see that the "boum boum hardstyle nZnZ crassshh" destroy you

btw: have a look at my avatar
