| Originally posted by Redeye Well, I wouldn't add Johan simply because he is def. overshadowed by Armin/Ferry/Tijs and really he isn't as big as those guys. Sorry to "mod"ify your poll, but you cant have a trance poll and have Victor on there (no offense) and not have S&D lol |
bump

PVD WHORES UNITE!!!
we all know im a j00f whore.
I voted for PVD because his musical selection fits my taste about 95% of the time. None of the other DJ's do that for me. Most of them hit about 70%
If I had to put these in order from best to least liked this is how it would go...
Ferry Corsten
Armin van Buuren
Tiesto
Marco V
Scott Bond
John '00' Fleming
Victor Dinaire (Never heard him spin but sure id like him more than these guys below)
Sasha
Digweed
Cor Fijneman
Matt Hardwick
Paul van Dyk
Just my opinion....
The Berlin man...
hehehehehhe look whos #1, look whos #1
can't believe no body love Sasha...I think he is pretty good DJ
im sure sasha would win the prog contest...
wow pvd is winning im soo surprised omg
Does anyone remember hearing Tiesto live in a club for the first time? I admit he has never matched my first tiesto "experience" since then but when I go out to a club, that how I want to feel.
I'm forever chasing that first Tiesto high. For those of you that have never seen Tiesto live and you will on Saturday, savor the moment... cause it will never happen again.
PVD is much more consistant in his sets in NY and I always have a great time because of the vibe.
When Sasha is "on",I don't think anyone else compares but hes too inconsistant.
Armin = Ferry so how can you choose one over the other?
Vote goes to Tijs.

Ive seen Tijs 4 times now. Im going to Space next weekend to see him again so we will see if he brings back that good old Tiesto feeling. But to tell you the truth im really fucking gealous that im not in Toronto @ Guverment right now cause I know Tiesto is tearing shit up.
Um... I wouldn't really consider Sasha or Digweed trance. They're prog.
sasha is garbage anyway

| sasha might be progressive but he still plays trance and I think if you have Marco V in there who plays tech-trance you can have sasha and diggers who both basically were the building blocks of "trance" and its genres. The Northern Exposure series could possibly the most well concieved, well produced, well mixed cd series ever. Don't make me have to add Oaky in there too |
they shouldnt be consitered trance djs because trance was a short period to them. IMO saying sasha/digweed were trance because they droped blue fear/my lexecon once in a while is dumb(gu 013 is not a trance cd andy
). Same with oaki even though his trance period was a bit more with a lot of push/ jan johnson stuff. Trance was never a majority in their sets, i think oaki had a few sets that had mostly trance, but i dont think thats more then 5. I do admit that oaki has 2 of the greatest trance comps ever though.

not a big fan of 'trance', but one of those djs rings my bells...

I would have to say that Sasha is my favorite "hands-in-the-air-big-buildup-with-lots-of-synths" trance DJ...
