first time i didnt liked time of our lives and refused to like an dlisten it
now i love it
homage=ownage
Sorry- He released all his good stuff at once and theres nothing left on the album to like- Its like a Housey-Chillout-Breaks cd.
Not fully mixed- some are track to track then like 3-4 songs are mixed (SORTA)
All you moron's who are starved for new music- just hype yourself up-
I would rather go buy out there and back again instead of buying this.
(Although I dont plan on deleting it from the HD- lol)

Originally posted by xKaoSx Actually Yes- Theres some 13-15 songs on there- His current "releases" Crush Nothing but You Time of Our Lives All good- yes- but the rest of the songs on there- sound NOTHING like those 3 songs- doesnt flow worth a shit- random and all over the place. I mean- first 3 songs- goes from bangin hell yea- to a breaks housey version of Time of our lives then into some chillout crap song that i think my dead grandmother would hate. 4th song is OK- Then Nothing but you comes on - then its just random the whole way through. What was he? Too lazy to mix the shit?
Just got finished listening to the album and overall it's pretty good, nothing that blew me away, but it still seems like a great album to me. In a year where there have been dissapointing albums (i.e. 'bt - emotional technology', 'chicane - easy to assemble'), PvD's album held up close to the hype. The album is a bit more diverse than past PvD albums, but this is good...it shows that he can do other styles and do them well. While this is not PvD's best album to date, it certainly will be one of the year's best.

Originally posted by armandzadza It is very clear that PvD's target audience goes beyond the trance crowd. That's why you have a jazz tune (Like a Friend), a rock tune (the album version of Time of Our Lives), a hip-hop tune (Knowledge), and a number of chillout tunes (e.g., Buenaventura). If you are so limited in your musical taste as to want "banging tunes" only, no wonder you're disappointed. Needless to say, mixing these genres into a continuous set is unnecessary. You want the tracks to stand out to accentuate the album's diversity. P.S. By the way, there were two more tracks that were released previously: Connected, which was the B-side for Time of Our Lives, and Buenaventura, which was on the La Mano del Zurdo soundtrack.

Originally posted by xKaoSx My music taste isnt limited- Just because I dont like a fucking song on the album doesnt mean I only like bangin shit. The songs suck- Ok- So I really cant stand Jazz- Hip Hop is tolerable if I had enough to drink. I pretty much listen to everything- He's just trying to go off and be all artsy and he should have stayed to form like Out there and Back. not all over the place- The only thing Reflections does for me is reflect on why I hate jazzy vocals

1. I'm posting in a forum not writing a novel.
2. You're being the n00b for flaming me, I was merely making a statement referring to Pauls quest for the $$$.
3. You have to realize that not the entire world worships PVD.
"Learn some music." << I'll stick with the grammar thanks.
You have to realize that not the entire world appreciates metaphores about crapping on one's head. If you weren't a n00b, chances are you'd more careful with what you say.
I really hate it when these forums turn personal.

Also not everyone appreciates being called a n00b, I'm sorry if my sense of humour offended you.
My bad for calling you a n00b as well.
P.S. No more flaming in this thread!
Agreed, we are all TA's after all.
i just re-listened to PVD - Thats Life and it actually sounds awesome..wow...
close to being PVDs best songs, if all his songs were like this then i would be his biggest fan.
Can someone help me post a tracklist with the info on wich versions of the songs that are used..
like is it the vandit dub or original of crush?
i cant find such a tracklist.
Once I downloaded Out There And Back before the release, loved it at first listen and finally bought it. Now I d/l'ed Reflections, I will purchase it but still it has to grow on me, it's not exactly what I expected and what I'm used to hearing from PvD.
