i think the song should be true gouryella-style.
what is the point in doing a new gouryella-song if it is a
completely different sound, then he could release it under his
ferry corsten guise.

Well it doesn't have to be his new Ferry-type sound, but it has to evolve.

Another Gouryella production in the style of Ligaya would be supremely boring, unimaginative, and unsuccessful. Tenshi, on the other hand...

Gotta love the endless Tiesto bashing but when someone mentions Gouryella all of a sudden he's such an amazing artist again and Gouryella is nothing without him.

Posted by vmc on Sep-12-2003 21:23:

To be honest, I prefer new Ferry electro-trance style (Punk, Right Of Way) to Ligaya uplifting sound.

Cool

does it really matter, just get on with your lives, it's 6 months away so it seems from reading this, to the guy who said ferry's new efforts are mint... whatever, they all sound like punk with only the melody changed, tiesto has been shit too, traffic and faithfullness are goodish. they aint prolly ever gonna work together again, so deal with it, there are many better producers churning out better tunes now anyway, like our own mk-s, haak, nickson, etc.

if the 2 of them work together again i would eat my shorts on film

Ill pay 2 pence for every 10 grammes of short material you consume.

But 'twould be minty crunch if tiesto + ferry did it in proper gouryella fashion.

I'd bet several people in here that do go clubbing would give you several reasons why we don't need another Ligaya (UKTAs being among them).

it was even mroe perfect when ornadel played it at godskitchen the week after global
best original gouryella mix anyway
tenshi was all about the transa remix
walhalla was all about the armin and hybrid remixes
gouryella was almost as good as ligaya

at least Tiesto didn't play those live(except for extreme ways dub, which is way better than Rock your body), let alone twice in a set.

haha, you think that's funky? it's more like punky. another souless and weak production by your beloved Mr. Fairy Corny. but hey....whatever rocks your boat

I'd be interested to know what exactly is different about a production with "soul" and one without this mysterious quality...

easy. something that doesn't have soul sounds contrived and forced when it tries to be funky. ie. a ferry corsten production. something with soul? max walder, robbie rivera, speedy j.---very soulful

Posted by DJ Freestyle on Sep-14-2003 02:49:

Phil Collins? This can't be good.

Posted by chompy on Sep-14-2003 08:13:

Well I'd love to have another Gouryella production in my hands. I really like them, so I hope it comes true soon.
