Very detailed. Nice work.

Other (synths, bleeps, ...) 10
The synths are pretty standard fare and the vocal is out of time more than once.

- Arrangement 25:
Basic layout/structure 13
The intro is way too long and it tends to drag otherwise too... the second part is just pushing it too far.

Overall sound/final eq 12
Um... did someone forget the bass completely? I sure as hell can't hear any bass.

- Total 60
It's like the track was done first and the vocals were just slapped on top without any kind of thought.
Seems like a rushed job.

True, it was a rush job, with the vocals at least. Very fair. Still, not bad for oonly my 4th proper trance track...

Evil man he is

Evil man indeed Next time we pick another judge Jk. Thanx for helping out on such a short notice, and thanks to the other judges plus arctic and rb2k for organizing as well.

Congrats to en2t for a well deserved win. I think the quality of the other mixes was very high as well. Looking forward to the next one

Peace

Stan (en2t), good job.. i like your remix a lot as you already know... you just keep getting better and better and i know if you keep at it you are going to do something great.

thanks to rb2k1, arctic, all the judges, everyone who submitted a mix, and all the people who are downloading the mixes.

if anyone wants to download my remix it is available at

extalin: If you had entered i think you might have been challenging for a top 3, if not the win . Sorry you didn't decide to put it in, i was hoping we could get it to everyone somehow...

I've been listening to Fatboy and en2t'a mixes again and again, and they're absolutley amazing

Not too shabby

Posted by Psy-T on Sep-13-2003 02:03:

when can we expect the next compo?
and is someone ready to orginise it? (arctic did a pretty good job this time)

Posted by en2t on Sep-13-2003 03:40:

I guess I should start thinkin of a tune for you tranceheads to remix hehehe =) Anyone have any preferences???

Posted by Psy-T on Sep-13-2003 04:25:

something non-trance would be sweet for the next remix compo (as long as weve got an accapella/acoustic version)

Posted by en2t on Sep-13-2003 04:44:

That's the thing...it's kinda hard to find acappella's on Kazaa (the only way i know how...). Unless the heads here have wider access to vocals/copyrighted samples, my choice of songs remains really limited.. Or it could just be a track with no vocals.

Firstly, there's usually a bit of a break between them, and secondly, it's up to the winner , so you have the call

Posted by Omegasox on Sep-13-2003 05:01:

Just heard your remix en2t, amazing! I'd definitely pick this up if it was on vinyl, I love the Antillas mix it's just too vocal heavy. This one is perfect!

Posted by ILL_FaTeD on Sep-13-2003 05:20:

Satan (eek!)

wow! thats a damn fine remix...keep putting out other mixes and some originals also, would to hear em!

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Sep-13-2003 08:40:

There are other good remixes besides the winner, people... let's not forget them.

Posted by erix on Sep-13-2003 12:03:

something without vocals, and a dark melody

Posted by rb2k1 on Sep-13-2003 16:24:

how about..

how about a challenge... something that isnt already a trance tune.

Posted by dj dimwit on Sep-13-2003 17:26:

I would like an acapella again! It's fun working with vocals, you can do so much with them..

Posted by TOR on Sep-13-2003 17:35:

^^ how about kosheen - hide u?

now there's a challenge!

Posted by MeiX on Sep-13-2003 18:34:

As one famous producer had said: It is a lot easier to remix not-so-good-track than a great one. Kosheen, in my opinion, is not the best choice for the next contest, because there already are really good trance remixes by Ferry Corsten and others...
