I just want ya'll to know that because of this gd hurricane....I am sleeping at work...I worked 14 hours today...and Its freaking crazy. I work at a Marina...and everybody and their uncle's are pulling their boats out. The only problem is....according the weather channel (yes we've been watching it all day long) we are supposed to get 15-30 foot surges. It sounds like an awful lot to me...but even if the levels go 10 feed above normal..we are royally fucked. 15 feet above normal and all the boats that are on land will be afloat again. My house is going to flood...all I'll need is 5 foot higher than normal...its gonna cover the peir..over the bulk head...into my house..gonna suck ass. I hope my bug doesn't float away! I have to spend like 4 hours tommorrow after work getting our boats out of the water and tying down anything that could be blown around or float away. Damn this hurrican!!

It was 177 km/h as of about 2003-09-17 23:20 (UTC-04, US EDT). That's right beloe a Category 3. I think just 1.5 km/h or so faster and it's a C3 again...
