Kylie herself has stated she makes POP music and that was the intent of her new album.

This site is TRANCEaddict not electronicmusicaddict so the point about dance music making it suitable to post on here is null. Sometimes there's a lil variation on posting topics to techno/prog/goa etc, but going as mainstream (and let's face it she's is mainstream as soap) as Kylie is too far.

Thanks for supporting me. Kylie Minogue is more than just a POP icon. I hate POP music. I remember in '97 in Britain they called Underworld POP MUSIC . There's a lot of trance remixes of her music and I dont consider her POP (I do consider "Fever" CD poppish) - but overall she is a great dance music icon. Peace.

If someone says she is POP, then I would have to 100% agree with you that she is the best POP music artist out there. Though if you look at her older music (pre Fever) or the Greatest Hits Remixed CD (WOW! GREAT TRANCE REMIXES THERE), you'd say its not Pop.
