Posted by axm2064 on Sep-24-2003 14:24:

how long will armin's set be for guys? any ideas? i last saw him at Roxy in NYC in July...and he spun there for about 5 hours. Do you think he will play for this long at the Guv? ..... and what kind of music does mark oliver spin....this is the first time i will be seeing him. thanks. cant wait for this!!!

Posted by torontotrncelvr on Sep-24-2003 14:34:

armin will be spinning for 3 hours

Posted by Pett on Sep-24-2003 17:28:

Smiley DJ PVD and MO

Mark spins progressive House/Trance
Its all goodness...... its party music and he keeps the party live!

See ya all there!

Posted by samhouse on Sep-24-2003 17:37:

armin is prolly scheduled for a 3 hour set. BUT judging on past experiences with him in the guv...he will spin for ATLEAST 3 1/2 hours..if were lucky more (unlikely tho). Mark on the other hand will be KILLING it on either sat or sunday..or maybe both...Those who were there for his Anniversary set last year when he played one of the most amazing 3 to 4 hours of music ive ever heard will be lookin forward to what he has in store for us.

should be a sensational wknd

Posted by techno_freak on Sep-24-2003 21:07:

fuck! and ill miss pvd and avb! thats not right, what does armin spin? house/tech? i know that pvds set will be amazing "nothing but u" and "time of our lives" will be there for sure, ill wait for your reviews guys...later

I'd expect 2 hrs. Which is part of the reason I'm not going - $35 at minimum (don't forget the taxes and fees on top of that $30 ticket!) is just too much.

especially when you factor in he sucks ass. go to armin instead

TENAGLIA's hiatus beats out anyone that I can think of.

Are you sure service was "only" 4$/ticket ?? I just went to ticket master and those bastards wanted $41 ($6 for service) for my ticket.

FUCK MONOPOLY ! Someone should take the initiative and open up a competitive nation-wide ticket selling company !

The service charge was $4 on my ($30) ticket.

what the hell, ticketmaster only has pvd at viva in april, but nothing about guv, am i doing something wrong?

Posted by jdjd on Sep-25-2003 00:10:

even though i can walk there in 10mins, $30 is too much for 2-3 hours of pvd...

armin spins 100% trance my friend, and hopefully MO will also since he's there that night..

Finding Tickets

Type in Guvernment in event search.
Watch out for those damn service fees.
Apparently Play Da Record has $32 dollar tickets as of today

Posted by hardcore trancer on Sep-25-2003 00:56:

So ya I just got my ticket today from ticketmaster for $39.00
I think it is abit too much, but since this would be the first time for me seeing PVD it is worth it I think!!

I called Play Da Record at 6 today, and they didn't receive them yet

Posted by Trigger on Sep-25-2003 02:56:

I would think that for Armin it will just be cash at the door (no advance tix) as they usually do for guest DJs on Spin Saturdays. The Sunday night (special) event will be advance tix.
