Dancing is fun, I wish I would have started when I was younger so I'd actually be good by now. Used to just do my own thing but recently started to learn some proper form and history. It's fun to just flail around, but when you actually know how, its a whole other level. I'm Still far from good but learning slowly. Ill just be walking around the club and random people will stop to give me complements and such so thats always cool. As far as music goes, anything with a beat will do, although I prefer House or some old 70's funk. Something about a good funk beat gets me moving. 2) Moves, im more of a poping, waving, randomness type person. 3) Passive dancer when there is no room(try to be nice and not hit anybody) all out if a good song is on, or if there is alot of room to experiment.

hmm my friends tell my I look like a robot when dancing LOL

IMHO... I suck. Usually I just drop myself in the middle of the dancefloor, close my eyes and let my body move by itself.
Dunno if can be called dancing, but I sure do enjoy it

LET'S HEAR IT!

1. I do, quite often
2. moves? I do what i feel like doing.
3. i work up a bit of a sweat, yeah (read: I sweat an f00king lot)

Posted by NYCTrancefan on Oct-13-2003 18:35:

the moment that I step into the club I am ready to dance, if I am feeling the set being played and the girls are hot and ready to dance, I am on repeat for the entire night, with non stop dancing. Nothing like being in a club with beautiful music, beautiful girls, and a kickass group of revelers out to have a (good time).

Trance is hard to dance to while not looking like some sort of deranged freak. I don't think I've ever seeen a decent dancer at mainstream clubs, but once you go underground, they're everywhere.

LOL, I wasn't making fun or anything, it's just a different style from the Canadian fistpumping/raving.

I may be hitting up that event, by the way!

I'll be sure not to come within a 5-foot radius.

Monkey Dancer 2

I can

Posted by raverchikadee on Oct-14-2003 15:13:

Man when it comes to the dance floor i am a complete maniac! I do what ever when ever. But unforunately most shows i go to are so packed that all you can do jump straight up and down and move your head around.

Armin and Tiesto in Montreal - 7 hours of hard dancing, one popped lung and air bubbles leaking into the chest and neck.

Smart body healed itself, but the doc said that if it did not, I would have collapsed a lung.

Smiley DJ

Cant dance for the life with in me, but that dont stop me. If its a good set and i have had one or two beers. The music just takes control of my body and ill dance like theres no tomorrow.

I love dancing.

When i started going to night clubs, i used to be the first and last one on the dance foor. Its the best way to get to dance with a lass is being the first on the dance floor, there think oh look hes all on his own lets join him

Posted by Likuidescent on Oct-14-2003 19:53:

before I actually moved like the candy walk style. I didn't know where was a term for it. it was my unique style.. nobody else used it.

mine was mixed with semi-wushu, tai chi and power walking. not dinky paced steps. I'll be gasping for air five minutes after - swimming for the bottle. people get mesmerized by my walking, sometimes. I catch some of them in awe for odd reasons.

nowadays, I'm learning some liquid popping, boogaloo, and breaking. I'm going to freak everybody out, especially the girlz.

Posted by Likuidescent on Oct-14-2003 19:56:

oh and yes, I go hard. i busted both of my big toes. the nails came off eventually.

i'm not doing that again.

Posted by hitokiri on Oct-15-2003 22:00:

When trance is playing...and the songs are great...i am on the biggest fucking natural high possible...i dance like there's no tomorrow and i let it take over my body and soul. No idea what moves i use...i just dance. i think i'm considered an active dancer b/c ppl always assume that i'm an etard.
