this man killed us in TO on Sunday nite! hav an ambulance ready for this craziness !!

Posted by dj2kTA on Oct-14-2003 20:23:

If you're dead set on going I would buy tix. I almost got screwed two years ago at his last HOB show when the tix sold out a few days ahead. But luckily I went up there anyway and got hooked up with a VIP wristband to get my brother and I in.

PURE has 200 tix at $30 plus $3 fee for a Paypal presale. www.purefuture.com for that

I'm going to grab a few from them I think. I'm glad its at the HOB instead of the Riv now, and it sure beats Transit. If only it could be at Vision...

Thanks!

But.. Let me rephrase my question:

--Anyone know any good hotels (suites) kinda close to the HOB?
Any of you guys staying around there? Thanks for the info!

When Dj Tiesto last came to Chicago he was @ HOB when I got there tickets where sold out.I got in the show but my friend had to buy a room that;s how I got it. As far as PVD selling out "He Will" I suggest buying tickets now that's what I am going to do.Unless you plan on being the 1stperson in line to get them @ door. When I saw him this year in Colombus,Ohio @ The Factory Me and My Sister got there late. But get this, There was about 60 People in front of us to get tickets. Then they said everyone who has WILL CALL step over. Well those 60 people stepped over. (lol) So me and my sister where the 1st people to get tickets at the door. When I saw him last year @ the Riv it was awesome. He will amaze us all that night I just hope the records don't skip Like they did with Tiesto @ HOB. (lol) Tiesto face was so funny when that happened but the crowd didn't stop so he kept going. That sucks we can't take pictures I guess I'll bring a camera phone remember our job is to make him give like 4 oncors. (lol) CAW? What is the percentage you will take pictures @ HOB that night on 11-15-03?

Wasn't it $20 back when it was at the Riv?

I wish it was still there. I could have stumbled home. I hate HOB.

my gf's friend gonna hook us up with 40$ marriot hotel suite... yay for connnections. Last time i was in chicago i stayed at some motel 6 in a shitty neighborhood and they were still charging 60$ a night.

PVD

Ok... I bought 6-tickets yesterday for PVD in Chicago nov 15th. There is a band playing the same night as pvd and I heard the pvd venue does not start until 12midnight.If you also look on purefuture.com you will see that there is no dj before him. So could it be possible that he is playing and starting @ 12 and playing the whole night?

Posted by CKYTEP on Oct-17-2003 03:24:

Is pure gonna be wankers again and record the set and then tell everyone they didnt do it and wont release it ?

Paul Van Dyk

Ok. I been posting this for the past month frankly I am getting tired of no one responding to my question. Now I have been browsing the forums I been noticing everyone has post about PVD @ Virgin Megastore for a signing. Now I am wondering could it really be possible that he might be doing a signing again?????????? FEED BAck PLEASE!!!

Posted by ninja_k on Oct-20-2003 01:55:

Spiel,
sure it's possible he might be doing a signing again. But the fact that no one has responded means we just don't know... I would suggest calling the virgin megastore in chi-town *and* checking out pvd's website for better and more accurate info.

good luck!

Posted by dj2kTA on Oct-20-2003 02:51:

as far as a PvD signing again I hope he does. But they dont usually announce that until the show gets pretty close. Thats how theyve done it with PvD, Tiesto, Howells, etc. etc. I guess we just have to be patient until then.

I picked up 4 tix from PURE's website (thru Paypal) the other day. They're only 33 bucks from there. Heres a link to the page if you're interested. http://www.purefuture.com/html/event1115.php

Posted by Blake613 on Oct-20-2003 05:14:

I'll be there and I'll be bringing a few of my Iowa State friends with me. Don't worry Porky -- I'll buy me own tickets this time!

Yes, very. If you're flying in to Midway, take the orange line, if from O'Hare, take the blue line. in either case, follow the signs from the gate for CTA. If you get off at either State & Lake or Clark & Lake, you will be 3/8 of a mile from HOB.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe u think i might go????? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm omg i gotta see what i can do!!!!

Posted by Black Irish on Oct-27-2003 22:12:

im estatic to see that PVD will be a HOB rather than the riv.

Hob has, valet parking which is usually very quick and resonably priced.
Riv has, crap for parking, and two of my friends cars have been broken into in the last year and a half.

Yeah, the drinks at hob are steep... but i dont drink. So, i dont really care.

I personally enjoy the intimacy with the DJ that you have on the dance floor, and the shallow depth of the venue makes the sound much warmer than lots of other venues in chicago.

The only real downsides @ h.o.b. are the crackheads that come out of the woodwork, and the f'in fog machines.
