slightly odd.

same here same here!

my grandma always stays here for a couple of days after birthdays,x-mas, ect. when she does she has to sleep in THIS room, the room where my pc is placed atm.. she figured out where i keep the good music and she plays it over and over and over agian..

she wanted me to burn a cd to but in stead i pumped 10GB+ on to her own pc her neighbours are still not moved so i think they like it to

I think my mom slightly enjoys trance since I listen to it in the car all the time she's proly gotten used to it

It's great hearin elders get into trance cuz IMO it's the best form of music, if only more of my peers understood...

my parents continue to ridicule it and compare it to the sound of workers constructing a house

My dad has nothing to say about trance music...
buuut, my mom somtimes comes into the room and starts dancing usually to the uplifting stuff, its hilarious!

nice work mate, got my dad to like trance too

and man, this is the same man that like folk music with a passion, haha, im that good :P

and right now i have a lot more prog house and techno playing too then usual, and he's starting to like that too, at first he was like, wtf is this beaty shit with not much melody (well especially in the case of prog house), but he's grown more accepting

My mom likes Andain - Beautiful Things and some other vocal stuff too.. But she doesnt like Flight 643 and other hard-trance stuff

most of my friends are into either jazz or hiphop so i get that one all the time, and it drives me crazy

as for my parents...if they're in the right mood, they don't mind trance at all...my dad listened to some mix and said it was pretty good...so i guess i'm lucky.

yeah dude that's what I'm talking about, my mother could never get into trance, she enjoys old Caribbean music and 1970s type soul music from Barry White and such.

That's music in essence but what people don't seam to realize is that a track doesn't need vocals to have substance
