Right on dave,
You bastards have agitated the poor fellah :P

This is trainspotters at their worst IMO, who gives a fuck what the background of a song is?? The info on the sleeve is enough for me, quality is quality, crap is crap, i love this song, if i wasnt flat broke i wouldve ordered the rekkid, but was buying some rarities past few months and those cost.

This really confirms the jokes about trainspotters lolz

that's not how tracks get made in my book, that's how children get made.

you mother came to the dj booth, you father liked her ass and in 20 minutes they made out?

sorry, couldn't resist

It's a shame that musical inspiration comes from MDMA more often than from the heart.

That acapella is AMAZING!! I'm dying to know where it's from...

G&D bootleg of Coldplay - Clocks is stellar.

I know it's just another track layed over it (the name of which escapes me), but it really is amazing.

"i gotta thank" by G&D i believe is the other track.

i Love atrc like many others, i Dont Care if you like, i am interested in knowing the story behind it But its not going to influence my liking of the song.

most importantly, shame on many of you. dave dresden (and josh gabriel) are some of the most respected producers by a majority of the members of this community. i'm embarassed that even after the man himself posts you guys continued.

Unhappy

U can flame me if u want, but i do belive that ATRC is overated and if it does become 2003's greatest track it is a sad day 4 trance.

Posted by davedresden on Oct-16-2003 01:02:

that would make me cry too.

dave.....Azior - Sunset at Myvatn would be a great track to remix...errmm

Posted by Mr Game+Watch on Oct-16-2003 16:38:

So... anyone have more info on the acapella? Like, is it from an older house song (which I'm assuming), a movie...

ATRC will definitely be the top trance track of 2003... if not #1, then definitely in the top 3... mark my words... And it's well-deserved, it's my second favorite work by the duo. Although it doesn't top their remix of Mindcircus.

Exclamation Wow Can u Say Heart Attack!!!!!!!!?

Honestly people why does it matter that they met some random girl and made the song with her? This happens all the time [ not the same situation, but meeting someone and making a song ]. Have you ever heard of the group Cold? [ rock ] One of their songs was made after a girl telling them that her dad beats the fucking life out of her. So their music was the only thing that got her through. Its touching, but you know what i dont let that get to me? Good song! thats it Thats all it should be! why does it have to matter? you guys are going to die very young if you let things like this get to you? WHY DOES IT MATTER? Its about the music not about how its made or who made it, ya i like a lot of songs from dj's i cant stand, but i dont care about them, i care about the music. THE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!! THATS WHAT IT SHOULD BE ABOUT. BUt their are always some people that get upset when they miss a liveset as well

Not only electronica, but lots of other genre's as well. Drugs open up a whole new creative world in a producers mind. It's scary.

And that story about how ATRC was made is pretty cool. I dunno why people have a problem with it. Dave is a GUY, and he liked what he saw. Maybe while he was doing it with the broad he liked her voice and thought she would be good for his next song. lol...props to u Dave!! Hopefully you and Gabe pump out more tunes with stories like this

I really shouldnt say anything, but why pity?

would you love your fav track any less were it made under the influence of drugs?

you'd be surprised as to the dimensions they can add.
