But seriously i don't know why they bother with these bootlegs or brand new remixs....the old remixes were legendry inc. Matt Darey remix...nothing will beat it.

True Alli, am sure we will have the best time. I have also decided to follow in your footsteps and the recent ones of Sids and have a healthy night

Main reason I wanted to see Matt Darey is to just to hear Beautiful within, Beautiful without.

Re the zucchini balls.. yes miss them heaps lol That T/A dinner we had here in ACT on the night of Lucien was great. Perhaps for Tiesto we can set something up similar as am sure heaps of ppl will come down.

Posted by Beemer on Oct-22-2003 01:19:

twas cbr halcyon nite

those friggen zucchini balls are gonna haunt me for life i reckon, even when i'm not workin there anymore....i'm sure i'll end up with some in my coffin *lol* haha i even have a burn mark on my arm from those bloody things....grrrrr

if Tiesto does come xmas eve (not gettin hopes up yet), i'll have to do the family thing in the evenin we'll see tho

Yo Sample word of advice mate - ignore everything that is ever said on ITM!!!!

ITM is filled with peeps whose only job is to put down dj's that have the talent they dont - the good ol ITM music mafia!!

From where i was standing, everyone was having a great time and you were enjoying it, so fuck anyone who didnt like it theyre obviuosly twits!!! Dont let the mafia get to you like they did to Nick Warren (thats the reason he's not coming back to Sydney so far on his tour)!!!

Keep up the good work! And remember you cant please everyone...

Posted by PVDsANGEL on Oct-22-2003 01:38:

Sampledont listen to that crap!.. Yes, I may be bias but can not believe anyone could honestly feel or think negative things about your set. I have been to every set of yours (apart SOS) and that one was the best yet, plus the 20 or so ppl I spoke to that night agreed. Besides, what is wrong with hearing classics? The more the better! What a great feeling it is to hear tracks you know so well and every beat?

Posted by Psygnosis on Oct-22-2003 03:30:

Yes ignore them, i don't know how you mixed (i'm sure you mixed perfectly like always) but let's just say that if a trainwrecker threw that tracklist you showed, i would be loving it...it's the music that counts.

But i didn't understand fully what the ITM bloke was saying about Sample Gee...anyone care to explain??

LOL I'm sure morphee knows what was going on :P

Basically it was me on here. Read back I told him it was time for a new intro Didn't know there was a story behind it, and 1/6th of my comment was directed @ finding out some depth behind it.

PS morphee I only deleted the post coz u didn't quote it

Most of his classics were new re-makes. Even better An AWSOME track you know, that has the ability to make you go WTF, coz it's different. How rare/cool is that.

don't u love it when ppl don't have the balls to stick to their original opinion when faced with a lil opposition??

Posted by Psygnosis on Oct-22-2003 07:28:

I'm seriously confused...is this debate about Sample Gee playing old songs????

Posted by DJ SOLACE on Oct-22-2003 15:15:

c'mon, if you check most of the top jocks playlists you will find that most chuck in several classics(or remixes of) in a 2 hr plus set.

Samples tracklists for here in adelaide and from this gig were both top notch.

Posted by Psygnosis on Oct-23-2003 04:09:

OMG you people can't be serious...don't actually mean everyone here but people who deny old songs being played....sheez

Classics over New tunes...anyday.

Posted by Chookie on Oct-23-2003 04:16:

Go the classics! I Love a set that is mixed up with new tracks and some classics and some newish ones that people might know.
