Dude, it's not hard to hide stuff. I suggest going in your trunk, opening up the floor where your spare tire usually is and stick it in there...then pile all your gear in your trunk. There is no way they will empty the whole thing and then look in there.

We are currently designing the direction page and it will be up shortly. If you are driving from a long distance and need to know where you should be headed, maps with directions to the event will available at Nathan Phillips Square (Queen St. and Bay St. in downtown Toronto) from the shuttle bus coordinators from 10am on Friday until 5am on Saturday. The map distribution will begin again on Saturday at 10am and last until 3am on Sunday. Thank-you for your patience and we hope to see you all out at WEMF2001.

Viceroy, I see your point, being a promoter can be a nightmare. However let me use this analogy or metaphor. Do I know how a McDonalds is run? Do I know how a Gap is run? Fuck no. Does it get run properly? yes. They charge for a good/service which I don't mind paying for as long as I do get it. If they fuck up they apologize huge. And I'm talking 5$ for a cheeseburger not 80$ to see OS/2 for the 50th time.

On that note, Fergie aint even crossing the pond. Apparently they couln't get him a visa because he has some criminal record in the uk. Couldn't they tell us that like 2 weeks ago when they knew? Or at least explain to us that they are going to make an effort at replacing him. I mean shit since the love parade went under there has to be a shit load of dj's, Graham, Corsten, anyone??

At this point I almost feel bad for Ryan and the Destiny crew I hope things work out for them, this summer has been bad news all round, Swirl, love parade, twilo. The list goes on.

*still optimistic about being there* (wherever the hell it is)

Directions to WEMF 2001 from Toronto

From Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto (Queen and Bay):

Take Queen Street West to University Avenue

Turn Right on University and travel South to Lakeshore Avenue

Turn Left on Lakeshore Avenue and enter the Eastbound Gardiner Expressway

Take the Eastbound Gardiner Expressway to The Don Valley Parkway (DVP)

Travel North on the DVP to Highway 401 East

Take Highway 401 East through Toronto (Just Past Bowmanville)

Exit the 401E at 115 North

Travel up the 115 North a short distance and you will see a group of restaurants and gas stations on your right hand side. The first restaurant is McDonald's, followed by a Country Time Donut shop and a Petro-Canada Gas Station. In the area between the Country Time Donuts and the Petro-Canada Gas Station there will be a representative of WEMF2001 handing out maps for the final part of the journey to the venue. Maps will be available beginning at 10 AM on Friday, July 20, 2001 and will continue to be handed out throughout the day and evening ( until approx 9pm).

If you are travelling to WEMF 2001 from:

Niagara Falls/Ft Erie

Take the QEW Highway East to Highway 427 North

Take the 427 North to Highway 401 East

Take Highway 401 East through Toronto (Just Past Bowmanville)

Exit the 401E at 115 North

Travel up the 115 North a short distance and you will see a group of restaurants and gas stations on your right hand side. The first restaurant is McDonald's, followed by a Country Time Donut shop and a Petro-Canada Gas Station. The venue is a campground and special events park with flat meadows for dancing, lots of parking, a nearby lake for swimming (free shuttle on Saturday), and plenty of space for your tents and RVs!

All stages will be tented with massive circus tents for rain or shine enjoyment.

Yet they still don't have the venue location... lol

Dude, I hear ya.....but the Gap/McD's are much different than a rave company. There isn't much you need to worry about when being a manager of the Gap. You don't need to worry about kid's od'ing in your store...selling drugs...or to be concerned with your store getting raided or shutdown.

ok..thats me...i'll most likely be hanging around the trance tent on the outside since i like having room to boogy. i'll be wearing that same hat with baggy dark blue jeans and possible an orange t-shirt with a big yellow flower on the back...maybe a white t-shirt...**shrugs** see u all there!!!

that's awsome..we're the only one's coming from kingston..all our friends bailled out on us...(again!!!)same thing happened for picotto at the gvt....we always end up going by ourselves..but we figure out that sometimes its more fun this way coz we talk to everyone and we meet heaps of people...so im off work in 5 minutes, than im on holidays till monday night...heeehaaaaaa!!!thank god its over...

As you may not know the OPP and POLICE are on a mission to not allow this party to go threw...they thought they shut us down by closing Cayuga but they will be mistaken....there is NO stopping the Toronto (and other) RAVERS!!!

The police have told us "knowbody will be getting to our party." A roadblock has been set up threw the main route and more roadblocks may also be set up. For this reason we have provided many ways to get there. The police are going to be using scare tactics. THEY HAVE ABSOULTLY NO RIGHT TO DO THIS. IT IS ILLEGAL FOR THEM TO FORCE YOU TO TURN AROUND AND GO HOME! IT IS YOUIR RIGHT TO DRIVE WHERE YOU CHOOSE. IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO DANCE!!!!!!
