Not his production, but yea it's a good remix. I like the Sunburn vocal mix over the non-vocal. It's because I heard the same bassline through Dust/Dub.wav and to have it repeated in Sunburn without new vocals could have been a big mistake.
Burned With Desire + Never Wanted This. Total chilled vocal ownage.

I'm not even going to try to address the total absurdity of that comment. I respect opinion, but this just transcends that consideration. The Sound of Goodbye is, at this point, a trance classic. |
i suggest you take heed of your own advice. sound of goodbye sucks all forms of goat balls, and i respect trance, but this transcends that consideration.

When the Sound of Goodbye came out it was massively received by DJs and listeners alike. It stuck around in charts for years and even broke into mainstream playlists. In the grande scheme of things it is the most successful track Armin has produced.
You might say "popularity doesn't mean anything," and you might be right, but Sound of Goodbye is also beautiful in its own right. The vocals are perfect for the tone of the song, and I've failed to see any other production that captures the mood it does. It is powerful and uplifting, despressing and moving.
As for you trying to insult me, I don't downplay opinion for every track at all. Plenty of people love Burned With Desire, and that's fine. I don't. But anyone who claims that Sound of Goodbye is the "worst song" Armin has produced really needs to get checked.

dude, i wasnt trying to insult you. everyone is entitled to their opinion which is what makes this forum great. within that opinion, it can encompass any form of critique in which they feel or believe even if they say sound of goodbye is the 'worst' armin.
obviously me trying to be witty has been taken the wrong way, you get that sometimes when you try to be a smart arse. just stick to your own convictions and dont worry too much about having to justify yourself...
you wanna kiss and make out... err.. i mean make UP

Just to prove that i do have some respect for Armin to all those who label me as Armin-hater, I actually believe that his track "Wait For You (Song for the ocean)" is a decent track. I like the lyrics, and i think the production is not bad either. Yes it does sound a bit like PVD "For An Angel" for first minute and a half, but hey.. what can you do?
