Yes i am fat, but i do annoy the mods, and it's due to a shit diet i have which makes me really ill eating pastas & potatoes & stuff, gives me little choice of foods

I will be down to 200lbs within 18 months tho, esp when i fix my bike

and yeah, some mods are tits here, we all know who

What do you do to be there? I work out 4-6 times a week, eat well, and used to run 30 miles a week but now I run like 30 a month hehe thats why I am at 7-8 % range.

To drop down into 4-5 what do you do? and is it a long term plan to keep that or is it for competition?

I don't compete, I'm just on an uber health kick atm. I have a little pouch at my stomach that I need to get rid of, which is the motivation for the current diet. I do basically the same as you, except replace the running with riding bike (I absolutely loathe running).

3-4% is unhealthy, 5% is the lowest I would go, and I plan on staying at 6%. Do you typically work out/run right when you wake up? Do you eat 5 hours or less before going to bed? Do you sleep atleast 7 hours a night? With all you're doing already, I can't see why you'd have any trouble getting to 6%. I have a very high metabolic rate so that helps me a lot, I don't do any more than you. My diet is strictly protein and uncooked vegetables/fruits.

I was at 6.1% last summer, but I was only 165lbs. So I don't want to burn too much muscle trying to get that extra fat off.

Mec why don't you name the people instead of beating around the bush?

Make this thread heat up a wee bit.

Posted by Orbax on Oct-29-2003 23:14:

i dont have any real problems dropping down to that % was just curious if you had any cool techniques I was unaware of hehe. my triathalon training got me there with biking 12, running 3 and swimming 2 (miles) a day i was crazy

Posted by DigiNut on Oct-29-2003 23:14:

LoL, is this for real?

Oh well, might as well join the fun and tear down the stereotype, I'm 6'1 / 150 (weight may even be less, I seem to lose it no matter how hard I try NOT to ).

Ah ok, I was shocked to think you couldn't get down to 6%. Nothing special I do, just the normal constraints you hear preached about, training and eating right.

Triathalon training will definitely do it, but they're a different breed altogether. My cousin is big into that and he can run circles around me. Glad you mentioned swimming, I need to get back into the habit of doing laps. Best way to get your back/shoulders into shape!
