yeah... the hype about Holding On To Nothing... i don't like the track at all. see, it's all a difference of opinions.

as for ATRC, i kinda liked it at first, but wasn't really addicted to it for the first 2 months or so... then i heard it in G&D essential mix and after that i listened to it once or twice a week... until i got tiesto's nyana and after that i played beautiful things , holden's nothing, and ATRC 4-6 times a day because i got addicted. and i didn't care about the hype or anything, i didn't care what djs played it and how many times they played it and i didn't care what people said. and i don't now.

but saying it's a "shitty" song is closed minded and pisses me off, because i don't think a person who posts a one liner like that deserves to judge other people's work when he/she obviously didn't achieve anything on that scale in his / her life.

and this is why the EDM genre is so great, each person has their tastes and style, so while they may not like one song from an artist, they might like the next one. And Dave-show in NYC man, cmon, can't wait for one.

the sweeping strings remix of this song is great to listen to in a club....has great melody and a nice bassline. The problem was this song was way too overplayed

personally i enjoy ATRC, and if its 'overplayed' its becuase people go enjoy the song when its played out live (which the atmosphere would go off imo)

and i agree its bassline and vocals from sweeping string remix = excellent live !

Well I actually heard this track on a mix cd my friend burned me, I thought it was pretty tight, but nothing spectacular, but after I listened to the track many times, it really started to grow on me, especially those enchanting female vocals. I think its just one of those tracks that takes a few listens to appreciate.

But hey, if you don't like it, then more power too ya, and keep on trancin'.
