Max Graham was pretty good, was a good night.

Pete Tong will be at Sonar some time in October, was supposed to be there tonight but he rescheduled due to the WTC catastrophe.

7 Alexander used to have a very good trance night on friday but it never caught on, mainly due to the fact that they didn't advertise much for it. Now it's a lesbo night :P

Check out 7 Alexander on Wednesday's, they do Breaks/2-Step/Jungle until around midnight, and hard shit afterwards, trance/hardhouse/techno. The music changes every week for the most part, I will most likely be making a debut there in 3 weeks, and if that's the case I'll be dropping the tranceaddict flavor.

Will keep you guys updated.

yeah i was battling over there last friday its pretty slack even tho the head guy was kinda "no i have all these djs booked and they'll be pissed if you spin!"
and half of them were like 13, lol

we even brought my friggin decks... damn... so heavy..

every time i went to visit my friend there this summer (she worked there) they had some pretty, um, shitty music. lots of hiphop, and not even censored, and they call it a "family" place with 7yr olds running around. dont like playdium, but if you're gonna spin there pat, lemme know, ill come out to check ya out, and maybe play a few games

Hmm... Interesting... As I recall, the radio stations they had should be censored, I know that cause I have seen parents complaining to managers about it. He almost threw that DJ out of the window... You guys should know how tall that DJ booth is. I guess you guys missed the best part of DJs last year. :

those chumps all play hard house.... yeah some of them were spinning hiphop before.. i think they had geminis there, but my friend has told me they didnt have decks anymore.. besides i have that pitch adjustment (courtesy djdawn) on my tech12s the mixer was ok too, except for the slight problem that one of the line faders busted..

and there was a cd mixer there too but we didnt get to try it out.. like i said, my friend and i got to lay down only about 8 tracks each.... in the middle of other guys' sets

I was that first DJ at the Playdium from the beginning.
I used to have a pair of Vestax PDX-d3 in there. The Vestax mixer they have was in good condition when I left, I guess the DJ there screwed it up. I don't know what's going on with Playdium now since I am not in Vancouver. If you want to set up a DJ gig there. Drop me a line so I can properly set you up.

apri_peel: I have my way knowing people working there, as you can see from the post above.
