| thats not bad actually... night skiing is so much better, its so much more fun, plus its not nearly as packed as during the day... |

Hope I don't kill myself on the easy hills

I'll be going for some night skiing this sunday to Blue Mtn. with a friend...
anyone else interested in going?
I just talked to a friend and a few of us are going skiing tomorrow. Any TOTA's hitting the slopes this weekend?
skiing in @ Blue Mountain ain't too good right now.
High of 12c tomorrow
As far as I am concerned, the only way to hit the slopes is in the western part of Canada. That is where it's at.
I hit blue mtn yesterday for some night skiing, and holy shit, the slopes were the best ive seen in Canada yet... aside from the fact that my balls turned into couple of ice cubes, its the most fun i've had in a looooong time... now is definitely the time to go, before all trails turn to shit!
I'm goin' again next weekend, so if anyone's up for it, we could hook up...

damn...i had a chance to go last night as well, but i passed. ah well...i needed the rest and relaxation anyway.
steve.
IF yall end up having a trip to one of the slopes, count me in, im going to SnowValley next weekend 1st time boardin this year, but i wanna go at least 5-6 times, so whenver u all get this organized count me in!
we don't get organized, too much hassle... instead whenever you're going up, leave a post, and if anyone feels like going that same day, they can get in touch with you and you can hook up with them...

you must have posted the info on your size when I went home for x-mas, I just saw it now!
6/6 size 14
thats a big guy on skis!
since ride discontiued the mountain series and replaced it with the Yukon, its a good bet. they have a 169 board, with a 269 waist (which is about as big as you get)
There is also a (grumble, grumble) Burton Canyon 168 with a waist of 266, theyve also got a Bullet 167 with a waist of 267. The Bullet is significantly less expensive, but with your weight it might be a little to flexible for you.
those are your best bets. I dont know where you could find them in town, but those are about the biggest boards I can think of. (there are bigger, but then were in the 900 dollar range)
not much choice eh...
i guess i'll rent it first and try it out before buying anything... thanks for the input though!
which reminds me, anyone up for going this weekend?
