A fallback on one of my few moments of glory......
Don't hold against me my once and a while naivity....

Hm...it was a theory made up when being pretty drunk actually. Yeah...Comparing life to a fucking big trance event(or _insert EDM genre here_ event).
You might just sit on a couch and watch others dance, think about he dj's mixing skills, the bad visuals or the musical elemnts themslves, ( being the cynical observer who thinks life instead of living it.) or you might enter the venue and start from start to finish, lose yourself in the music, making out with random girls next to you, scream your soul out and pass out in the early morning (aka live life t the fullest). Some people give up and sit down at 2 am, or 3, some even take the taxi home trying to convince others to join...well, those are the WEAK ones. Pseudo-philosophy as a means to hide their weakness, calling the strnegth of those who do make something out of their luck to exist, banality.
I keep reminding myself that this party will just take place once. And that it's already 2am. I was sitting around for the last couple of minutes but I'll get uop and joing the crown sooner or later. Oh yeah

Maybe if you would have read my other posts and then my follow up post that said that I didn't miss his point, you would realize that I was just trying to make the situation and context a little lighter, and maybe make Orbax chuckle a little bit?
No, Orbax has an excellent point, and I totally agree with him. If I dislike something about myself, then I change it. I work out everyday to keep my body in shape, and eat healthy. If I don't like a job, I find another. I don't get turned down by managers, and I never have any real difficulty to obtain a job. I work hard at my university and try to make sure I get where I want to in life.

Don't be afraid of showing your feelings, be afraid of regretting it when you don't.
It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.
that's pretty much it. |
Very philosophical, maybe you're not that insane after all!
