I think that people are just biased and bandwagon jumpers. Have you noticed how everyone always likes the same thing. If Rakoon made any of those remixes people would be like 'yeah whatever its not bad' but if its by G&D they go 'woooooot pwn pwn pwn!'

So yes theyre overhyped. Although this year was the year of G&D they will die out in the beginning of next year along with Armin, and everybody will love someone else.

That is the cycle of life known as TA.

I think Gabriel and Dresden are really good, I'm getting fed up of seeing all the anti-G&D stuff here... someone said that people only like stuff coz its G&D, thats not true for me, I like anyone who makes tunes as good as theirs I don't think they're overhyped artists in the same way that guys like Tiesto and PvD are..

PvD = talented producer? That's a good one! Not a single tune PvD produced comes close to a G&D production. PvD is the most over-rated electronica producer IMO. Claps, hi-hats, same bassline....his productions are so simplistic they make G&D productions look like the most complex pieces of music ever written. I really can't stand G&D haters who worship PvD.

I think they're pretty good, although I don't like any of their mixes of Pop songs (Madonna, Brittney, Annie Lennox, etc.) Their mixing skills aren't bad, but nothing amazing. G&D Essential Mix (09-03-2003) is one of my favorite sets though.
