I can't i need to stop talking about this shit, this jsut goes on and on and on. Noone listens, everyone jsut throws their fucking point across and thats it... fuck it

Man trust me I know what you are saying,it is funny how The U.S was a friend to Iraq back in those days when the whole war between Iran was going on,they gave the Iraqi's all the weapons to fight Iran. Then I guess the whole deal between them broke off and Iraq attacked Kuwait to retaliate.and then they became enemies, and got blamed for making WMD,even though they were given and made by the U.S.

Iam not trying to say Saddam was a saint, but the country was in a better shape that they are now.

This story of Saddam capturing will be shoved into our heads for loooooooooooooooooooooooong time, since to many it is considered a victory!!we'll see how many more US troops will die after this.

Posted by j_spot on Dec-14-2003 21:26:

personally I dont care how many troops die in this battle.
You signed up in the army (as there is no draft right now) you knew the risk. if you die, sucks to be you, but you knew what was coming. Maybe you tried to use the system to get an education, but looks like it used you. (this is differnet than our veterens, who many did not have a choice of going to war or not)

I feel sorry for the innocent contractors, and aid workers that are being killed in the car bombings

MJUZIK > BOMBERMAN

Bomberman, I can't believe you used Homer Simpson as a representation of American people, considering it's a fictional character purposely made that way as satire. DUMBASS!

The capture is definitely a good thing, so he can tried for all the shit he's done. People, in particular the Iraqis, can finally get a sense of justice for the years of living under the brutal saddam regime. If it was any other country besides USA who captured him, you'd all be cheering too, so STFU!

all them american's can't get enough of him on TV already,
they sit at home and jerk off to his face...

while in the background...
the US dollar is at its lowest LOW!! 1.22 USD=1.00 EURO or something.
The economy is shit (always true when country is @ war)
USA soliders are dying like crazy down there, I bet u only like 1 of 10 attacks gets to the media! They all eveyrone of them wanna go home but can't! They won't allow them to go home! WAR IS SAD!

So this was bushe's plan to get re-elected?
I think its just one of the manny little scams,
the'll be more, you wait and see!

yeah yeah...and for that he should be put to death.

But if you think that's the only reason why the Americans went into Iraq...you're more naive than I thought.

Historically, war is usually good for economy. And the Canadian economy right now is doing just as bad as the U.S. economy. However, if you're trying to imply that this particular war is somehow responsible for America's slumping economy, it would be nice for you to at least show some correlative evidence, if you can't show causal evidence.

War is sad. War is also war. The soldiers can't just go home whenever they miss their mommies. People die. Although, didn't I hear that not a single soldier was hurt or killed in the recent operation resulting in the capture of Saddam?

The other "scams" being...?

Also, your basis of assuming that this is Bush's "plan to get re-elected" is... what, exactly? The U.S. military has been trying to capture Saddam since the very beginning of this war. How does it make any sense to then say that his capture was just a publicity stunt? What are you trying to imply, that they could have done it earlier but just didn't?

Man, the extreme level of ignorance in this thread is just astounding. The posts are so emotionally-charged, so off-the-wall. None of you present any solid factual evidence to back up your conspiracy theories, it's just wild accusations and speculation. You can't use one form of speculation to justify another. Take your business to the political forum, then - and watch them tear you apart in there.

Incidentally, the USA has more oil in its own country than in Iraq. I sincerely doubt that's what they were after. They're after power in that area of the world, not natural resources.

Posted by Matt on Dec-15-2003 01:16:

meh, I don't really pay attention to Iraq War anymore. If it gets the troops home, good.

But I have a hard time believing this kind of US "news flash" thing.... remember the Kuwaiti girl testimony from Desert Storm..?

One man moving compared to many bombs that cannot move or are hard to transport.

The US will use this episode and shove it down the throats of Americans in order for them to forget about everything else.

This capture will dig more graves for American soldiers.

hey man, there's lots of sand there tho, those weapons are out there!!! i know it!!! the american & iraqi people should all collectively dig for the weapons and finish he dispute immediately!

Hello? Assuming without proof that something is a lie is no more rational than believing it without proof.

True, but there is something called "credibility", and US and its media has lost all of it.

QUESTION everything, don't just assume it's false. The former is intelligent, whereas the latter is just ignorant, because it lets other entities (i.e. extremists) capitalize on your lazy logic and brainwash you the same way the media normally would.

/me rolls his eyes

Agreed. They are gonna throw him ina prison somewhere where he will never see light again and eventually die. Keep in mind. Saddam is 66 years old so that may not be long away.
