i'm not sure whether i should take this as a personal insult or just random criticism of my personality.

haha, emo kids are sorta the label thrown on the kids who listen to lots of "emo" music (emotional sorta a depressing spinoff of indy).
they stereotypically wallow around in their depression.

damn, i always thought of emo kids having weird haircuts, eyeglasses, and listening to angry punk rock.

this now confuses me. what about goths then? i'm a little bit goth, but not in their commercial way.

If thats what the movie with Mandy Moore is called, than yea.

But I have never had the pleasure of loving another and I feel like it wont ever happen.

Goths wear all black..or variations of dark colors. ive seen some wear those long black dusters from the MAtrix kind of.

it always amused me the fact that Goths or emo kids try so hard to be non-conformists.. yet they all look the same. Going to hot topic to but the latest in non-conformist clothing.

heh

heh

yes, have you seen the latest south park episode? fucking hilarious!

"yeh, we're goth. we hate you all. conformists! trying to live your happy disney lives. conformists."

"pain? what do you know about pain *signature jerk of head to get the hair out of eyes"

"we don't conform. so instead we all wear black, write poems and talk about pain. yes."

i've always been a non-conformist but in my own sense - aka, thinking on my own, liking my own things. none of that "wearing black and listening to gothic music" stuff. uniqueness and non-conformity is not about being different, it's about being yourself!

it's not about not listening to music to which everyone listens, it's about not listening to music that you don't like and listening to music that you DO like.

LMAO!! no i havent seen that episode of South Park but it sounds hilarious.. yeah i kinda feel the same way you do. I dont buy from Abercrombie and Fitch or American Eagle.. most of my clothes i own, i have no idea where i got them from..most likely thrift stores.

I like all music too, i grew up listening to oldies and beach boys and then classic rock, then i had my little foray into different genres: Punk, emo, heavy metal, 80s etc.. but Trance is what has stayed at the top for me. That doesnt mean im a candy raver or i do drugs.. its hard to explain.

i dont feel like i can stereotypically fit in any genre of music because I just cant. I cant dress all in black if im a goth, i cant be a harcore skater if im punk, i cant wear chunky frame glasses and black fingernail polish if im emo, and i certainly can't wear UFOs and bacpacks or Diesel and Armada clothes because im a trancer.

I dont know i listen to what i like and wear what i like. Anti-Conformity Alliance 2004!

vlad it wil happen one day. when you least expect it, now stop getting down about it and go out and do things for yourself and love yourself and then it will happen. if you constantly think aboout it, then you are just wasting thoughts.

if you wear clothes, you are a conformist. conformity is not bad.

of course, it's personal opinion, but i think it wouldn't do you any good, in fact, you'd probably go into denial about it if you were able to stay sane after you found out

haha! would you like to go outside in freezing weather naked?

Posted by davinox on Dec-15-2003 23:11:

i'd do it for $$$$$$$$.

and yes, i stand by my wish. imagine having sex with the girl of your dreams, that you'd never thought in a million years you'd be with. knowing the truth about reality would be like that x2000

oh, you mean in that sense, i misunderstood. i was thinking more on a global scale, you know, god, aliens, the universe, that type of stuff.

but yeah, i always had very vivid and creative imagination. so actually, when i was a kid, i always imagined how cool it'd be to have a little gadget, like a palm pilot, that could answer ANY question about reality, whether about past, future, present, ANYTHING. heh, don't we wish...

It was a generalized statement.
