No one is trying to change your opinions. The reason your so fucking arrogant is because you act as if you expect your personal opinions to be catered to exclusively:

I dont really feel like dragging this thread into flames but you seem to feel as if we are personally attacking your tastes in music, which we are not. We simply find it ignorant and ridiculous for you to expect to hear only what you want to hear on the mainstage because you feel you are special, and should not have go give up your seats like everyone else because you don't like a particular DJ, and want to hear another one. Its also ridiculous, and downright fucking arrogant to ask that an incredibly popular act like Underworld be moved to another stage because YOU dont like it, and you don't want to give up your seats to see another DJ, LIKE EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO. There will never be a stage that caters PERFECTLY to what you want to hear. So suck it up and just chill out, and sit through a DJ you dont want to see, or give up your seats and go elsewhere.

Btw I wouldn't insult his IQ when you speak with poor spelling and AOL grammar

the heat in my eyes from reading that arguement was searing. underworld for me is "alright", but to me not the best. but maybe thats because i have never saw them live. for me, i can listen to 13 hours of straight trance, but you got to throw in some other stuff, house, crazy cool stuff. but ide like the theme to stay on trance, cause i can listen to it for weeks on end and i have before listened to nothing but trance for weeks, not even the radio. it relaxs me actually and also makes me feel good, especially at parties when im dancin to it. yet, all the parties ive been to, nobody felt trance i.e. liked it. so ill dance by myself, only after getting drunk, which makes my little performance even better. did it new years eve on top of this tall buiding, on the roof. i could see all of miami, and see the fireworks from ocean drive and the downtown area. it was awesome...

You all need to realize that CoolWorld is the organizer for Ultra...and CoolWorld is HORRIBLE. Just about all their events are here in San Francisco and they have systematically deteriorated into a big tard of a organizer over the past few years.

The lineup looks excellent thus far! This shall prove to be pure insanity once again. I'm also just as stoked about monday 3/8 @ mansion!

My opinions on last year... which its likely nobody cares about becuase I rarely post...

-Chris Lawrence Totally threw down. Right when it stopped raining too!
-The Streets were cause for rapidly exiting the main stage area. I dont doubt theyre talented, but that sound really didnt belong on that stage on this day.
-Oaki played a dope set. Perfect for sunset and all the activities that occur when darkness decends upon bayfront park.
-Sandra C. was rockin it for a while.
I missed Tiesto, which sucks.
-Underworld straight up ROCKED! I've never really been in to them but damn! They were unbelieveable live!
-Then of course PvD and his scratched CDr at the peak of his set. Right before he was about to drop Summer Sun too. Wasnt his best performance but what a track selection! Thats to be expected though.

A lot of the day time performances were great as well. It really is worth it to get there early and check out some of the other tents. I tell this to my friends, but theyre always like, "No, we'll stay here at the hotel and get sideways all day and then go right before sunset" Its definitely a long day, but it goes by in a flash.

Speaking of hotels, where is everyone staying? We're at the Riande Continental. I have no idea how good it is but its right across the street from the venue, and thats always nice. Tried to get a room at the courtyard mariott like last year but it was all booked already. Last year our room had a balcony over looking the bay, what an amazing Sunday sunrise! Looking out across baaaaay.

Now I must sleep.

that's the beauty of a big festival...you don't have to be subjected to JUST ONE GENRE..whether were talking Ultra or Coachella or Creamfields or Bonnaroo or Woodstock for that matter. As great as trance is, Miami is truly a HOUSE city.
