| Dance music is a totally american import. we invented disco, techno, and garage music |

Disco never died and the Europeans never adopted it. The americans took ideas from non americans...push the sound...then non americans took the sound and made their own take on it. So technically it was just full circle.

But deejays like ferry see her as the future of music. You hook people like that on music, you gain a wider audience. The scene in any music will always have 2 parts the mainstream and the underground.

The americans invented music has facts, I asked some house legends on a few different conversations and they said they took influence from the Germans. Then again, I doubt any place can claim they invented anything because people always take ideas from others.
Politically, the US wants to claim the world. So why not give them the claim for everything so little to make there head a little smaller. The US claims shit.

That's just not what appeals me, and I'd rather it stay underground, and bet more people have the same intentions as me. First off, it is simple that the US does not find it appealing, and therefore it will not sell. And no moolah, then no publicity. it would not sound great in the states if the music were mainstream. it's not really the music that wouldn't sound good, it would moreover be the idea that it is mainstream although the US does not want it? i mean...to want it to be mainstream, and the reality that it will not makes sense right? |
americans dont invent nothing...see albert eintein and other...they import heads from anothers countrys...

If the media would play decent dance music on radio , maybe some people would like it becouse its good and not becouse its "cool to like it" You cant say every single people would like trance becouse "its cool to like it " You dont like it becouse its cool, so many all the trance addict, you like it becous you love the music. So im sure there would be many people who would think just like you about real trance |
if EDM followers bought one cd a month, I think cd stores would carry more stuff.
The problem with EDM fans is that they download and don't buy shit, why would the retail stores care about carrying stuff that no one buys.
