hmmmm, what's the point of the rating if everyone thinks they're song is a perfect "10" (and twice downloaded songs that were IMO, 4 and 5s)

Aight , I clicked on Add record, then I gave all the info and so on, then I click, SAVE, but then the page slowly loads, then it stops on 99 % and says .. opening page, is the track uploading , not showing anything ?!?! or is it stock ?!?!

Yes LiquidX it is uploading...it doesn't display the status but will tell you when its done.

Remember guys please limit uploads to 3 for this first week.

Verminator are you on 56k because if you are then it will time out. You can either up the song to a myplay acct and e-mail me the details so I can move it for you or if its on AG I can download and up it for you.

Error 404 Page not found. . .
I am on cable so it's not a time out error as it only takes 5 minutes to upload 11mb to 15mb

OKay, uploaded the tracks on my side for this week ( since 3 tracks a week limit ) . I did get that 404 Error Page once, and did get a blank space when I uploaded 1 track, but then I uploaded again, and worked fine, maybe it happens when 1 or more uploads are going on , cause it happened the same tame o ground was uploading .

Hope yall like the songs

that you get an error msg if you upload when someone else is uploading..

I think there should be a separate forum or IRC to discuss the tracks posted.

We upload tracks but how will we know which one(s) are best?

During the two upload attempts, i was not doing anything else.

As for the discussion idea, I think we should attemp to create a site with a simple forums or simply create a topic here in TA (say one topic per week?). If anyone knows how to create a site poll that would be helpful.

Right now, I think I will just create a reply and post my impressions and ratings for the so-far 18 songs.

Anyone one else have something up their sleeves?

Well I thought about setting up a poll, but the maximum amt of choices a poll can have is 25. I do agree that we should create a new thread for each week. Maybe I can stop allowing uploads on Friday then allow people to download everything and listen to it on Sat&Sun. If everyone is willing we can go ahead and list all the tracks w/ a quick note about what they thought of the song and their rating of it on Monday. Every song that rec'd a 10 by anyone will be included in the poll(Hopefully there won't be more than 25).

Just throwing out ideas anyone else have any???

Well depending on how many people will participate in the uploads..you should limit ups accordingly. 25people, 1up per person...

Yeah , sounds good, if there's more then 25 peeps that want to participate, then we should do a the 1st 25 songs uploaded count in , so they can fit on the poll , thats IF we are using the poll, wich to me looks like the easier in order to vote for the best tune of the week... hhhmm.. so far theres no more then 10 in here cooperating to this idea, but that idea of D/loading all the songs on the weekend sounds good , but things in here move waaaaaay too fast ! ! ! but hey, its a good idea , Id be checking up here to see what the final output of this will be, or if any better ideas are posted, so far, thats all I can think of
