Emphatically, without reserve, YES. I grew to enjoy listening to electronic music and trance especially because it unhinges you from the confining nature of lyrical music... so when vocals began to creep into trance years back I grew right out of it and into psychedelic trance, where one seldom ever finds any kind of vocals... its too bad to think of all the great tracks ruined by vacuous spoken nonsense over the years. How are you supposed to drift off into uncharted realms of thought when someone's singing "touch me" or "i want to fly" or something equally banal?
Let's just remember, however, that this is all a matter of personal preference. I will never be able to understand the appeal of vocals in any electronic music, however...
