People can't seem to find the fine line between having some fun and getting really fucked up

Drugs as a whole were pretty fun to do. Have fun, do 'em while you can. Pretty soon they just get old after a while. Escaping reality gets tedious and tiresome, and you want to start living in reality more often. You feel better, you think better, you sure as hell work better.

But seriously, I think it takes a certain kind of person to want to incorporate drugs in their lives, and I truly believe that's a positive quality about someone. It's a certain quality of experimentation, an open-mindedness of sorts. Seems to becoming more and more rare in this tunnel-vision like society. But I think everyone eventually comes to a point with the experimentation where it just doesn't seem quite as fun or adventureous anymore, a burn-out, if you will. The trouble is, the drugs don't really give a shit where that person's point lies. The drugs are indiscriminate of who you are and where you're at in your life. It is up to the individual to know, understand, and accept that point in their life. Some people (like me) literally embrace it. Until that point hits, however, I think it's important to experiment, have fun, be careful, and cause no harm to others.

As for which drugs I've personally done, pretty much everything you can snort or swallow. I still enjoy my beer and wine, and a rare occasional weed smoke.

Oh yeah, I must agree that those who inhale balloons look like f$cking idiots. I know I did. Dumbest high I ever got. Not that doing other drugs looks really "cool" or anything, but something about inhaling a balloon and falling to the floor giggling (or gurgling in my case) just seemed really idiotic.

I am sorry but i just do not understand what you are on about? I've read through this thread and come to the conclusion that you are generally asking for retaliation from ppl. You praise how good your daddy is at becoming rich and then ridicule other people. You're 17 right? How is it that you act like you are 5?

Listen, just try to think before you write. If you did not respond in gangster talk then i would take you seriously and understand where you are coming from, but shouting stuff like "ur just a loser to go and clown someone" which, well it just isnt english, then i do no simpathise!

On the topic, i drink alcohol in spurts, like clubbing once a month or so ad shall get drunk. Thats all i do. Id rather not use chemicals to enhance my enjoyment, as alcohol is only used to free me up a little, be more confident and be more friendly!

On a side note, i agree with Whiskers in use of ROFL etc... Its used in text messaging now too.

I don't do drugs and I have no tolerance for people who do drugs but if they are only hurting themselves or they want to take a risk in doing a substance then really can you stop them. With the amount of drugs that is available these days is unreal and getting drugs is not hard. So if someone wants to smoke weed and you are not around them then what can be done.

i think some people are a little to eager to prove how 'hardcore' they are with drugs. mind you, i've done a lot, and have the tendency to condone them. i try and maintain a modesty that will not kill me. ..in the next 20 years.

acid, mushrooms, dxm, cigarettes, coke, e, mdma, meth, alcohol, lots and lots of alcohol, ketamine, ketacet, morphine, marihuana, salvia, annnd... a bit of demerol in there... percs... uhm... i ate a whole bunch of gravols one time, don't do that, please.

as long as it isn't your lifestyle, you don't have a problem.

drugs ive had...
alcohol - love it. my most commenly used drug
coke - love it. my favorite drug, but very expensive and you have to be very careful with it
weed - used to like it, but not really much any more. went on a huge binge with it early freshman year and i was really turned off to it after awhile. makes me too sleepy and paranoid. had some really deep inspirational times with it, but they were also quite frightening at the same time. its also very hard for me to be social while using it.
haven't been stoned in about a year
opiate pain killers (vicodin, codeine, percoset etc.) - love them. love to sit back and listen to music while on them
nitrous - only time i ever had it was when my teeth were being pulled. i loved it. i felt like i was dreaming and walking on clouds
shrooms - did them once. i was wanting very much to do a halluciongen. after doing it, i had a good time, but i just didn't desire to do it again.
nicoteine - eeeeeeh, i like it when i'm drinking
caffeine - i don't like it. i'd rather sleep than stay awake. but life doesnt permit that so i'm stuck having to drink it all the damn time.

drugs i want to do
Ecstasy - been wanting to do it for along time. just waiting to find a source for good stuff.
Morphine/Heroine - want to do it at a point in my life where i've pretty much satisfied with all my accomplishments and "done with things." would be a nice way to go on my deathbed

i didn't inject the morphine, and i've done nitrous.

Any hard drugs, bad. Fucking up your brain and your body is not a good thing.

Alcohol is the closest thing to drug I'll do. And cigars.

alcohol - love it, i drink like a fish, maybe a bit too much
ecstasy - love it, i used to do it alot, but havent done it in a while (like over a year). i'm waiting for the right set and setting before doing it again.
cocaine - loved it (while i'm doing it), hated it the next day when i am missing all of my money. dont do it anymore, but if its there......who knows.
weed - eh, i'll smoke it but i dont like it enough to buy it. i have to be with the right people to really enjoy it.
shrooms - ate them once, had a good time but once was enough for me. i didnt feel like i had any control over what was happening
lsd - tried it once, same idea as the shrooms
ketamine - did it about 6 or so times while coming down from E. had fun with it. alittle goes a long way.
cigs - nope
heroine - no thanks
crack - nope

since i started to get into djing i have almost completely stopped doing drugs (except alcohol) and started spending my money on vinyls and paying alot of the bills that i neglected during my "wilder" days. i would say that i am pretty much still down with whatever but i dont go out looking for stuff like i used to. i would really like to roll again but i want it to be at a some what special event, like maybe the next time i see armin or pvd.
