I'm not sure if anyone has seen this or if it has been posted in tis thread yet because i did not read the whole thing but this comes straight from nick warren on another board in regards to way out west live....

"just to fill you all in , we are doing both gigs , but will not be the full live band because costs are just too high without tour support me jody and new vocalist omi will be there and i am sure it wont please alot of you but it will be more of a pa , dubplates , playing live off the laptop and omi singing live , we would have loved to have done the full live thing but as we are mixing down the album over the next 2 weeks , the costs as i have said , it would be impossible to get it all together , we just thought people would like to hear some of the new material and hear how amazing omi is , from early summer we will start to tour the full live act

Gabriel and Dresden rock!! Just saw them for the first time myself in TO. I hope they play Ultra too. We got a chance to speak with them in TO and when we asked if they would be in Miami, D. Dresden said that was a big question they dont know the answer to yet. sounded like they wanted to, so lets hope.

You're no noob... I don't really know exactly how to classify the music. If I am not mistaken, they do synth shows. Either way, I've heard some of their stuff but I am not a big fan. Some of it is ok though. Depends on your taste. I don't think they are trance though.

definitely not trance... a lot of crazy trippy/breaky stuff, it's alright if youre in the mood for that kind of thing. their album/song music response is aight

I've always compared them to crystal method and infected mushroom. You've probably heard some of their hits in passing and just didn't realize it. In the movie "Vanilla Sky" for example, their song "where do I begin" was played off and on.

I like them, sometimes. I have a feeling they're going to rock the house at Ultra like Underworld did last year. Ie; not the best music, but definately the best show.

can't wait for march!

i can confirm that we are not booked to play ultra. maybe next year.

i still want to know who the hell galaxy girl is!

- What da heck are the Ultra peeps thinking. I cant come to believe that the names announced are the only worth seen, I was almost certain you guys were gonna be @ Ultra ( after been the highest new entry on DJ Mag, and for the awesome work/remixes . ).
