Zara's is further down towards brunswick and there is no Brumby's near it. Coburg Kebab Station is on the corner of the arcade which leads to Coles and Coburg Station.

spiros in oakleigh is great, on warrigal rd near intersection with north road, next to rafas pizza (used to be kings pizza sniff). nice meat, good size, and its actually pretty decently wrapped up too which means its not a complete disaster when you try to eat it. 2 bucks more gives you the large option with extra meat mmmmm

eh i reckon the one in chaddy food court downstairs gave me diahorrea a week or so ago...

still haven't checked those guys out but a cabbie also recommended them to me

Posted by sLiCk_NiCk on Dec-18-2005 12:38:

orrys kebabs hume highway (melbourne) i find are a little bit to messy. they have the heater to flatten them but they cook it to much and i dont like the crunchy feel.

Posted by eRRaTiK on Dec-18-2005 12:43:

oh if you're ever in Granville (NSW) you gotta head to El Jannah, 4-6 South Street Granville (opposite the train station). Best chicken roll (kebab) ever, imo.

Saw Oli there on Saturday lol.

when some mates and i were in brisbane last year we went to a place that cooked it slightly so it was all sealed up and didn't leak, it wasn't crunchy either, i was very impressed. too bad i can't remember what it was called

Posted by sLiCk_NiCk on Dec-18-2005 13:35:

yeh sealed and heated for the right amount of time they usually come out pretty much perfect (depending on meat) but if its to crispy it ruins it.

Kebab King - Elizabeth Drive, Mount Pritchard. [next to 7-11]

LOL the stall looks like a kebab version of Burger King/Hungry Jacks.

Great for locals who get pissed during the night and need a 3am snack.

The best by far for me is Gino's Kebabs on high st Thornbury/Northcote area. Top bloke for a Turk lol, nice quality meat..and the best bbq sauce available by far.. if u ever drop in sign his petition to keep the van running coz

damn straight these are the greatest kebabs known to man. the way they warm up the kebab in the iron press is fantastic, it really gets everything warmed up nicely and the juices flowing. never had a bad kebab from this place and the couple that run it are really nice.

unfortunately they had to move from this location because of the neighbours and council who complained about the noise. but they have opened up next to a carwash on the way out to tullamarine airport. if you ever get the chance to check this place out i thoroughly recommend it, also if you are game get two kebabs it is worth it.
