Rapid Air emailed me and told me that my 3 record shipments are sitting at the FB Warehouse, I called there and talked to a guy name Carmen who i might add is an A$$HOLE... He told me that there is no way i am getting my records until i pay them and that is that,.. he said that there is no one who is gonna pay for the fees and stuff and on top of that, he said i have to pay extra storage fees for having my records there for soo long...

well, for my first order that i know for sure was at FB Warehouse, they told me that no one has contacted them to pay for the fees, so it is still sitting there, there is only a few days left before it would have to go out for destruction. I then decided that i have to pay the brokerage fees for that one, but for the next two orders, i called skynet couriers about it and they said they have no clue where they are and also FB Canada does not have them at their warehouse. WTF is going on?... i thought someone was suppose to pay those fees for me and take care of this whole messup?...

SHITSHITSHITSHIT... i HATE CUSTOMS!... anyhow.. i just paid the brokerage and taxes for my one record shipment that is at the FB Warehouse and dancegrooves is going to credit me back for it... which is nice, so anyhow i call the brokerage company to get my invoice for the charges so i can send it off to dancegrooves.. and the girl there tells me that the package is paid for now but customs decided that they wanted hold the package for inspection, so i have to wait another fuckin 4 days! retarded.. grrr also Rapid air is currently trying to track my other two shipments which are in limbo or aka Canada Post..

ONLY-DJS! did a good job
clearing up any problems which i had

had to pay customs fees for my records to be released
but at the end i DID recieve a credited amounts of $
back into my account.

Can't they send your records back to Dancegrooves so that they can resend, so you won't have to deal with FB(Fucking Bullshit) Canada Express??

i figured that dancegrooves could request the packages to be returned or something as well.. but FB Told me that if the packages are not claimed in 30 days.. it then gets picked up by the Queens warehouse and then processed for destruction...

You used the right one... Rapid Air is now dealing with FED EX (woohoo!) in Canada. I had a package from only-djs delivered to me in 3 days... with no problems at all!!! The order (9 records) was sent out March 1st and was delivered by March 3rd!!! Very fast now.

Canada situation is totally solved and all is clear again.
Indeed Rapid switched to FedEx in the US/Canada region on our request.

Prices have not changed for FedEx use, meaning DanceGrooves shipping for USA and Canada still is:

1-6 VINYLS E15.90
7-21 VINYLS E24.90

We wish to offer you our sincere apologies for the mess and frustration the former partner FB has created for both you and us.

Shipments

Hi everyone,

I know there were to many problems with the shipments from the Netherlands to the USA, Canada and Norway.
The main reason for this is the fact that we and our partners had to use the cheapest way of shipping.(your shipping rates are low)
We also didn't get the support from some offices we expected.
When you are a big company like Airborne Express , you also don't have all those problems at the customs, etc like we have.
I can tell you all a lot more about all this, but I don't think you want that.
We are now trying to find a better way of shipping without any delays, custom problems, etc.
I think we will use the other company between now and two weeks !
The momeny we start with one of them, I will let you know !
For now, please don't blame the online vinyl record shops in Holland for the problems.
Trust me, everything will be much better very soon !

Shipping Information

Our partner has used the mail for all the shipmenst in february and march.
That didn't work and now we are using Fedex again.
The transittimes are now for Canada and the USA 2-3 days.

I placed an order for 11 records recently on a Monday and I got them that Thursday. I chose Rapid Air and I was really impressed. I live in San Antonio, Texas and got my shipment really fast. I've had no problems to date.

Try to fix your delivering in Finland too. Airbone
delivered records less than 48h. I placed an order
21.3. and it was shipped 23.3.
And since 24.3. they are keeping my records in Helsinki.

and THAT SUCKS!

Fix your delivery RAC or else Dancegrooves looses too many
Finnish customers. Damn good shop, but when delivery
sucks there is no need to go shopping there anymore.

All problems are solved as said, we use FedEx for canada now, which works fine.

Concerning finland, no problems at all there. Every once in a while, customs pick out a package to check wether stated value and goods are corresponding with the content of the package.

So if you did not get your package, contact us so we can solve it instead of posting here.

So I just got my order from Dancegrooves. It came quick but the shipping is too expensive($25 CDN for up to 6 records) and now that they have teamed up with Fedex, Fedex collects the Customs Duty fee and the gst/pst(which i'm fine with) but then Fedex also wants an additional $7 for an FOD fee So it's basically $32 to ship over here, that's insane!!!!!

i ordered records from dancegrooves over a week ago. still haven't gotten anything yet. i have ordered from them b4 and received it within 5 days. this time its taking extra long. honestly.. the only place i can trust now is chemical and juno. they always get it to me in under 5 days max
