i am glad that the TA COMP idea is getting better.
but i wonder where are all the people i knew? toast cyrex dawn

Because some people who don't have decks also like to mix.

More like we should allow MP3 DJ's to enter Battle of the Mixers.

On this message board and others, there has been a lot of hostility and opposition to computer DJ-ing, and corresponding disinformation. That is probably why the MP3-only competition was started. Maybe someone who was around for the first competition would know.

there is no such competiton mainly cuz of the different classifications.

u can't have a race with F1 cars and stock cars racing together.. we know exactly who will win. Vinyl/CD DJs can enter this one as well but have to spin in MP3.

Agree!

Mp3 mixing competition started cuz some people wanted to enter the Battle of the mixers compet using mp3 mixing appz.

So we made it, and I think it was a great idea, we already heard some great mix in this competition, and it always was very fun.

i don't like spinning with mp3s, but i'd love to judge and hear some sets. I think I'm up for the challenge of ranking hours and hours of trance

I can do either.

Also, are mp3s allowed to be higher bitrate or lower or do they have to be exactly 160? You allow for VBR mp3s so I'm wondering.

I can make a VBR mp3 that goes 8-160k in variance or 8-192k and the second one might average close to 160.

Well this is filling up nicely. There's now 21 registered competitors, 1 judge, and 2 more that will judge .

I am willing to accept masks or plates from around the world, or any sexual favors for that matter (only females may apply) for bonus consideration .
