Safri Duo - Played-A-Live

very first tune I heard @ my first big party was Marco V - Recovered :P

(great set btw: Marco V @IC2000, still my favourite of him).

Mine would have to be:

Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel

and its still to this day, my all time favorite!

well.. i went clubbing twice the end of last year so i guess that counts.

big tunes that always rocked the club and everyone loved except me who is fucking bored of tribal and commercial house:

Martin Solveig - Heartbeat [not sure of the name?]
Goldtrix presents Andrea Brown - It's Love (Trippin')
Junior Jack - E Samba
Oscar G & Ralph Falcon - Dark Beat
anything from Chus & Ceballos

i fucking hate every single one of these.

Posted by Lira on Feb-10-2004 17:46:

Haddaway - What is love
Culture Beat - Mr. Vain
Snap - Rhythm is a dancer

Early 90's in Brazil.

Sorry Ste, I thought you said the songs that we listen to right before we head in to a club or going out.

If you were to name the first songs that started me into Trance and clubbing, then it would still be a CD and a list of tracks.

Cream Anthems 97

Disc 1 tracks 2-6

2. Freestyle Orchestra - Alex Neri
3. Horizonti, Belo [Original Mix] - The Heartists
4. Gunman - 187 Lockdown
5. Ajare [Original Mix] - Way Out West
6. Breathe - The Prodigy

I love 187 Lockdown, and then to mix from Way Out West into Prodigy was amazing. I still listen to it just to here that mix. And if you do not shake your ass when Freestyle Orchestra jams, then you need to get the weights off it. hahah

wau out west - mindcircus (G&D remix)
paul O. - southern sun

This was my first CD ever also, literally. I had never bought a CD until this one and it was all over. Never turned back.

As for songs that I heard at clubs, well that's tough since I mainly went to raves before I even discovered clubs. I could not even think about trainspotting tracks back then.
And yes this had cafe del mar and the first time I heard CJ Bolland. Wow...

Salt Tank - Dimension (Voices Of Reason Mix)
Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone (Signum Mix)
System-F - Out Of the Blue

I was 16 then - not old enough to go clubbing but that never stopped me - I looked old enough at least, however not all doormen fell for it but most did !
