Yup, Taucher is one huge nutcase. I remember he told an inteviewer that he had sweated off 15 kilos or so after one of his gigs where he wore all scuba gear and dropped several pills

Posted by Fkwebeman on Feb-16-2004 11:43:

Never saw him live, but heard a lot of him

Darkraver is known as one of the craziest dj's in holland.
Running around on the Sensation Black stage during his set.

also known as the Clown..

Woody Van Eden is a bit of a loon.. saw him once at Slinky.. we heard he scratches with his nose, and sure enough he did.. and moving about like a chicken

I have seen him doing crazyer stuff but this movie is a good representation.

Ditto, He is superenergetic!!! I've never seen anything like it. I love when he makes a heart with his hands, I've seen him do it a number of times.

down here in San Juan the most funniest dj spinning was
Mauro Picotto
he do a lot of funniest things close and open eyes fastly
movement with his tongue.

An also Paul Oakenfold was good
go outside the dj booth and start kissing the crowd

out!

i agree i saw him spin once hes jokes....paladin always manages to crack me up...when i think of how hard he must concentrate to stand so still and put on all tho sick shows you does it makes me laugh

I agree with Unbracko its Tiesto & he get so crazy about the tracj he spins sometime. But I guess thats how he relates to the fans & music & thats awesome. Mauro Picotto gets into it too. Also Chris Liberator has a funky groove dance & always smiles big when it rocks.
But in all I say Psycho Bitch gives the best effort after seeing her live about 100 times I'd say she has the most energy spinning & its awesome.

Isn't that exactly the problem with Oakey? Also, was this before or after the "hands of christ" move?

my vote is with ferry... i gotta get me one of them air pianos.

Ollie of the Warp Bros. is hilarious live. He really gets into it too.

Posted by neoh on Feb-19-2004 07:49:

johan gielen is entertaining, gabriel & dresden definantly get with the crowd, the even sing along to their own songs. Talla2XLC doesen't even look up, smile, nothing - too concentrated, same with keoki, rank1, Lange is anal..

I liked Tazix and Akeel @ KISS this year, they were both with the crowd.

Wow, even with no sound this guy is way crazier than anyone I've seen, I was gonna say Jules, Graham, and Corsten, but this guy doesn't even compare.

HAHAHAHAHHA!!!!! all i have to say is wow, quite energetic this guy is. thank you for the clip, pure entertainment, though sound would be nice, but still fun to watch.

Had the fortune to see Renegade Legion at MayDay 5 in 1993. He's the french guy who had a huuuuge hit at the time with the track A.L.S.O The Meltdown. He did most of his live-performance dressed as Darth Vader .

Oh yeah, Darkraver did a set to at the same event. Dressed as a trapist monk

Otherwise, I always like to watch Carl Cox because he works so damn hard while spinning and every now and then he does neat little tricks for the audience.

Posted by SlickT on Feb-19-2004 09:54:

i like when tiesto will 'turn' the eq and nothing happens or he'll kind of tap it. oh and when he gets his whole body into turning a knob. hilarious!

Posted by Master_Jay on Feb-19-2004 10:26:

Woody van eyden.

He's a nutter behind the decks. Scratching with his nose, chin, elbow. He always jumps about pulling faces.

back when he used to be a dj....

fatboy slim

Posted by Time2Burn on Feb-19-2004 17:43:

Max Graham is a riot to watch behind the decks. Always cracking jokes jumping around and being an all round ass up there. Last week he was putting ice cubes down another Djs shirt as he was playing, going into the crowd and booing loudly.

Armin is just so much fun to watch too. Always into his set jumping around and interacting with the partiers - the way it should be!

Posted by djdawn on Feb-19-2004 17:43:

i like chris liebing. he has this MAD drugged smile while spinning

gets really into it, and I'm pretty sure he isn't drugged even when he looks like that.

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Feb-19-2004 17:47:

Definitely Tom Harding and Eddie Halliwell. Never been disapointed with Eddie Halliwell, whether he be playing a peak set or a warmup set. Guys just a fucking mix master genius / entertainer. Yoji is pretty mad to. And last year at Tidy Weekender, Tidy Boys came out in full cyber which I found pretty cool
