Um, Im gonna take a guess and say that PvD played the Johnny Vicious Epic Vocal Mix of DJ Rap - Good to be alive, He played this track way back in 99 @ Club of Colors. Just a guess though.

It was an amazing night. This was my first time seing PVD and i thought it was awesome gig. He tore the dance floor up, he was incredible. I met some of you guys by the bar(In the beggining i was wearing FCUK IN NYC white shirt, then i was wearing brown PVD shirt with white writing on it. I got my digi cam in, in the begging, but one of the security guards saw it and told me to put it away. I didnt have my digi cam for the whole night, except the end so i managed to get some vids and pics. Roxy was F U L L. There was no space whatsoever anywhere. On the danceflooor you were touching like 5 people at all times. I got my shirt signed right at the end, i threw it to PVD and he signed. My night sucked though cause i had horrible back pain, but i didnt give up and kept dancing.

During the beggining if you were up front, some douche kept yelling PVD, number 1 number 9...i think he said that more than 100 times and kept annoying everybody.

Overall, PVD created so much energy that it was just unbelievable.

I loved it.

I agree, I wasn't feeling it that much either.

U r right dude - was my copy of the vinyl he played - unfortunately it was Mike Koglin remix - Oakenfold is one who plays the Lange Breakbeat Mix - still it was the highlight of night for me - that and DJ Rap - Good To Be Alive (Johnny Vicious' Epic Vocal Mix) and when he played Goldenscan - Sunrise (Pulser's 6 AM Vocal Mix) and Jay, Dani, Michi, and I were all like todo, todo , todo , todo - hehehehe

Great night with PvD and all the usual suspects in da TA crew.
Ciao, Alex

I've read somewhere above that PvD played a record he got from soomeone in the crowd. so it was this one

gee, was i at the same party? I arrived around 11:30 and positioned myself in front to see pvds start..It was awesome music thruout the night and i agree with Lunasea about the techno pvd threw around 3am..awesome! BUT yes the big but, hardly danced all night. To compare with last nov the crowd was SOOO different i tried to find a spot in various areas to get my groove on and people were just pushing and shoving all nite long. My friends and I were so fustrated. i probably only danced 1/2 hr to 45 min total. I wound up leaving early because i didnt want to just sit and listen, It is torturous to me lol I needed to move. so i left at 3:30. It prob got better after 4 but couldnt wait for the place to empty out. hopefully next time PVD will play at a bigger venue. I also didnt see too many familiar faces I think I so 2 Tas.
