| Originally posted by escee it was just crappy, no flow, played the dodgy cross over stuff he has been on as of late. The only good tune he played here was flaming june, and even then he managed to fuck it up and just make it sound average. Yeah thats cool your playing live and creating stuff sort of on the fly, but if it sounds crap, in the end ill go listen to someone else. |

yeah, set times are much better now...yay for Lucien bein on early
also, doesn't seem like it was really medical reasons for Futureshock not bein here - TT was NEVER listed on their website as a gig they'd be at...every time i looked in the past couple months, they always had gigs in other countries listed for those dates.......so, methinks it's yet another case of Future makin empty promises about TT lineups!!
I must be the only one who'd prefer lucien foort at 5am, to 11. it's very hard to get worked up for that timeslot, and having someone really good at 5 is one way to stop the party dying a long slow death as it moves towards a late finish. The place will be deserted by close this way.
Aww well, at least I get time to watch the bill and get ready and still be there in time. Unless it's like mobile home with the one hour+ queues, especially with this silly ticket pick-up system

You can add hugoboss to the TT alliance
Very happy about the timetable changes. Lucien/Mario Piu on earlier, no clash with Mauro Picotto, BT or Christopher Lawrence. Cheerin'
So anyway, there i am picking up my VIP passes for Two Tribes from the promoter in bondi.... he says "hey cam what are you doing now?" im like "um nothing" then he goes "do you wanna do me a big favour?" "what?" i asked.
so he says "can you take Mauro Picotto and Tomcraft record shopping today?" so im like "hell yeah"
so long story short, i picked them up from their Sydney hotel, and drove them around the city, they are such nice guys and very friendly.... i took them to one stop, where weaver was like "oh shit, we got nothing for them to sign" and tomcraft cut sick on some records and even bought a vestax portable record player. then we went to BPM which was shit, then Central, where amazingly there were some good records...
Exchanegd phone numbers and arranged a possible meetup tomorrow, where they might do an interview and a mix from our studio...
but yeah was just a crazy day, totally didnt expect that one
oh and Gil....
add webby to the list...

hugo - nah not at mine... in the city at the livedirect (nova) one
jace - yeah he was a bit reserved, but was still easy to chat to, while tomcrafy was like a little boy taking like 1000 records to listen to.
at BPM the guy didnt know them so was like "give me your wallet" in return for the needle and tomcraft is like "no u give me a needle" so i interviened.
