i think Matt Darey is a great idea for a trance international, who wouldnt be too expensive.
Cor Fijneman is another one.
i would love to see him live, however im not sure he would have that much pulling power as not too many 'trance-fiends' would know of him.
*sigh*
i know this is a bit far-fetched, but wouldn't Markus Schulz fall into the category of prog/trance international who wouldnt be too expensive, maybe even Darey and Schulz?? i dunnoo
however i guess it comes down to unfortunately what will get the punters through the doors and not what is actually quality music.
i think any of those 3 names: Schulz, Fijneman, Darey
would be good value, and hopefully would fill the club.
what about someone like Infusion, maybe they'd be willing to do a cheaper gig for the sake of 'the-scene'.
who knows...

, now that'll be nicee!!
, but yeh i think i do agree with you though.. Dreas isn't that popular to draw the crowds yet. Though were having a exclusive mix by him to be on Rush Nova 969 to probably popularize the name more... hope its better for him to get recognized

also consider that matt darey plays the gay clubs on his tours as well. This means he will play 2 gigs in the same city without necessarily splitting the same crowds. result = lower tour costs. And his website lists him as being in oz/nz in april.
as for mixing, i get told my mixes are fine all the time when I can tell they are complete crap. Unless they are really really bad, most people can't tell much difference. remember, we all hang around and talk about this sort of stuff a lot and pay attention to it, most clubbers don't.
hey i never said tracks dont matter! They are the most important bit, but i like DJs who can mix good aswell
