I've been lurking in TA for several months now and I finally registered. This is my first post.

Darude - Sandstorm was HUGE and I LOVED it when it first came out. I still enjoy that tune - a lot, actually. The "Children of the Sandtorm" is really nice, too. Too bad Robert Miles hasn't done anything new (that I've seen here in the USA).

No way in hell that what was done on the 303? The riff he used? Sure sounds like an acid sound to me, only tweaked so that it sounds very dry and blaring. Feel free to prove me wrong though. Main point was that it sounds cheap and that it is just plain annoying anyway.

I remember a few years ago when I loved this song.... back when it wasn't played in any clubs or on the radio, before anyone even knew who Darude was. Back then it was the greatest song I'd ever heard, but since it has been played on the radio over and over, it seems to have lost it's style.

It's kinda like old Time to Burn, kenkraft 4000, etc. It was pretty nice back in 2000, they played in everywhere mixed with Scooter and other cheese.

I agree. I made a remix of that - a 60 sec. clip of it that I repeat 4 times. It's really sweet.
