This thread is so much better
Haven't seen many movies lately.
Prozac Nation was really good. Hit a bit close to home as well, but I won't go into that... So really could identify with it, probably why I liked it heaps. (no, im not on antidepressants
)
other thread closed.

the last movie that made an impression on me (apart from the obvious
) was garden state. thought it was intelligent and it felt a lot realer than most flicks. 4.5 stars

went to see war of the worlds yesterday night..
wasnt bad, but not that great either
predictable at times and the conveniently disturbing happy ending (almost too happy to be believed)
fwiw, for that moment when the tripod graces the screen, that was pure awesomeness!!
7/10
Saw Mr & Mrs Smith with my Girlfriend last week, Good film for couples..
Angelina Jolie - Tight Leather Action (And some nipple)
:P
mr and mrs smith one of the shittest movies ever.
i saw war of the worlds the other night, and the end kinda hit me abruptly, didnt like it that way.. the buildup was damn fine though.

It's definetly his best movie ever made close to that all time classic "Bloodsport"
go watch it!
Oh also i was shown Kung Phooyeh or something like that. DONT WATCH IT!. well watch it if your those people that easily laugh at anything but it's a similar style to Kung Pow but at a lower, lower, lowerrrrrrr level of comedy.

WALKING TALL. will this be remembered as the vehicle that drove The Rock (THE is such an awesome name) into super stardom? if he and johnny knoxville dont go home with the main acting gongs respectively then well i just dont know what good acting is. (also honourable mention to the 2x4 who should also pick up best supporting actress). |
damnit the rock owned the mic in wwe, and he owns the camera in movies =)
