and all these girl TAs appear as if from nowhere

Posted by Massive84 on Mar-31-2004 11:17:

i aint a dad, am only 19

But i can easly assume, if you are ready for a kid, than you have to be ready, and not just say it..

it's something that will stay forever with you.

if your girlfriend says she ain't ready, then you have some problem mate, you must be BOTH ready, a kid, cost money and time, + you have to be there everyday, if your kid is sick, you cant go out for example.

i hope aswell you have a good releationship with your girlfriend, if something happens that make you 2 breakup, it wont be good for the kid or would it?

Meh is right, don't freak out that much, you have 9 months till your kid comes to this world its enough time to educate yourself and to plann everything out.

for a regular human, having a kid is nothing that big, it's just a phase, whatever you do it on your 40st life year or 20.

it's all about the right time, and if you think it's now(both actually) then go for it , good luck

Hey SkyHigh, congrats man!!

Having a kid, man that's crazy , but I wouldn't mind kids in the future. I'm only 20 and still at uni, but sometime before I'm 30 I'd like a couple.

Make sure you fall asleep every night with a bit of prog playing in the background. We want to make sure she grows up knowing what good music is . As for names, I love the names Kobi and Sydney for girls, but maybe that's just my exotic tastes

All the best anyways, and keep us up to date!!

Wow, that's exactly what I was thinking.

How do you think your g/f feels while she is carrying your baby and you look at pron on the Internet the whole day? Of course she is going to be sick.

I wouldn't say "they aren't smart", as I'd never question Arbiter's intelligence, for example, but I really think that even giving the child to adoption (if you think you're not ready) is a better choice. At least you're giving the kid the chance to live

Ok, I've only read the first page of this thread, but there is one word you should know: Condoms.

Now, to get serious here. Unprotected sex does tend to lead to pregnancy/STD's. You got pregnancy. Be extremely caring of your GF during this time, as I've seen pregnant women get bitchy before(ie: my mom), and it isn't pretty. Make sure you schedule her weekley checkups at the hospital to examine the growth of the baby. I know that you said that you're not going to, but, DO NOT ABORT THAT BABY! Alot of people say they won't but end up doing so. We wouldn't of gotten very far in our lives if our parents had aborted us, so don't ruin the chance of another life. Be a caring father to the baby, and a loving person to your gf. And make sure you let the baby enjoy trance .

true ....but if u don't feel able to take care of this child just don't "keep" it while u can't do it ....not every child unfortnately get the chance to be adopt and ....lot of these children who don't find parents are pretty later unhappy ...i've been lucky to be adopted by my parents that i love so much ...but unfortunately yeah not every kid got this chance so just think a lot about this ...but i hope u'll take care and behave like a dad with ur baby !

did a mistake ...while u can do it ...and not while u can't do it and i mean by saying that abortion

A little late responding to this thread but thought i would respond anyhow. Dude, same thing happend to me, i was only 19. so many mixed emotions, i dont even want to type some of the thoughts i was thinking. It's tough man, REAL tough. especially the PRE-kid part (ie: the pregnant gf). you have to give up EVERYTHING. Partying, friends, free/spare time, everything. It'll be hard man, but dont give up! I can honestly say being a parent is the most rewarding thing in the entire world. The first moment you see you newborn son/daughters face, you will know this. You created them, they are yours and you are theirs. The bond will will form is absolutely amazing. You will sacrifice alot, but when that baby smiles, or laughs for the first time, this will all seem irrelevant. You will growup fast. Being 21 now i live a totally different life than i did 3 1/2 years ago. I thought i was happy before, but now i know that this is it, this is REAL happiness and fulfillment. Sorry to ramble on, but the birth of YOUR child is the most wonderful, amazing experience, and the joureny of parenthood is the most satisfing road you will ever take. belive in you self man, and most of all, belive in your girl, she will need you so much now man. Take care.

P.S. a Pic of my son, Jaden.

Don't worry about it. It'll all work out just perfectly, if you want it too!

Posted by Mr. Pink on Mar-31-2004 16:48:

Rasta

The deed has been done.
look forward now and worry about the newborn baby you're bringing into this world...

hopefully your girlfriend gets better, good luck to you both on that.

much love and keep strong man.
it'll all work out for the best if you work for it

anti abortion people are not smart?

what are you smoking, I'm smarter than you and I'm against abortions. Let your g.f carry the kid and let her see the doctor. It is true that some get sick in the first while, my friend's wife was sick for 2 months while carrying their son. My mother was sick for 8 weeks when carrying my brother, I argue it was his ugly self that got her sick...which ends up with a slap

seriously don't abort the baby, let her carry it to full term. You can't reverse it and I'd argue that abortions carry more risk. My friend's dad a surgeon tells me this.

You are starting a family, that's the way I'd look at it. I'm sure the g.f is shocked beyond belief and probably will be this way. I've never seen any of my friends like that, all my friends have been over the moon when their spouses got pregnant. I would look at this as a true test because raising a child is not easy....but you can raise the child to be the next tiesto (just teach the kid how to mix properly and you will be ahead of tiesto (in 19 yrs).

Well, I'm smarter than you, and I believe it is the woman's choice.

What's your point?

And damn you, Orbax, for beating me to "Don't send the letter."
