Question: - "What do you think about the extended use of drugs in the trance culture, or that the trance music is related with drugs?"

Tiesto: - "It's not really true, I mean you see drugs everywhere. If you go to a pop concert or so, it's on all scenes but you see it more on people on the trance scene. I think the trance music is the only music you can listen to without taking drugs. You can really feel the emotions in it. You can get on another level without the drugs. If you listen to techno, it so monotone so then you really would need drugs to enjoy it."

Clue or no clue, how did that have anything to do with hip hop & idiotic attitude?

That's absolutely false and makes me angry cause' I'm sure many ppl believe these words. So when I hear techno in my car I need E for enjoy the music , hmm I hear techno in my car or at home cause I like it, I like techno with or without drugs. I don't need drugs for enjoy techno, trance... and I'm sure I'm not the exception.

well, it really depends. where i live techno is the starting point for every new born 'raver', as they get older they get tired of the same ol' things and move to more mellow and enjoyable music. so this is another bull*hit statement...

trance is like a box of chocolates.. yummy - DJ Sammy.

"The weekend is a time to go out and dance your fucking nuts off. You don't want to do that listening to a boring, 8-minute progressive record."
- Ferry Corsten

(I personally like progressive, but I totally agree w/Ferry on this one)

"I liked Komodo at the time but I was on a lot of glue at the time."

Cant remember the exact phrase.. but i read it somewhere..PVD said this.

"I dont want people to stand around listening to the music and say "hmm thats interesting".I want them to dance and go crazy.Thats what my music is all about"

And that "Yesterday is yesterday..if we keep on chasing it..we'll only lose tomorrow" phrase was made by bill clinton!
