TITS dont like:techno

Would you fucking lay off the "status" of someone? It's like to you someone's opinion doesn't have any meaning if they're a TiT. We all started somewhere, just like you said, you were a di.fm noob.

Back to the topic, Lizard was an awesome track for it's time. Respect to MP.

Grace - Not Over Yet '99 (Breeder's It Is Now Remix)

A masterpiece. Yup.

Space Manoeuvres - Stage One (Tilt's Apollo 11 Remix)

One of the best tracks ever, IMO.

Then comes Mauro Picotto - Lizard... Bass-bass-bass-bass-bass-bass-bass-bass, then comes alittle treble, "Goin' to getcha...", bass-bass-bass...

Why do you think he played Lizard again and not one of the other tracks from that genius EM? Well, because it's a tune that will get the crowd going. Just listing to the crowd reactions in that EM. There's your proof.

I agree with you...think the track and picotto are crap. When I saw Picotto at crasher it was like pans being banged and horns.

Sorry for bumping this up again, but is it "Goin' to getcha" or "Comin' to getcha"? o_0

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Apr-16-2004 18:06:

Neither. It's "Gonna Get Ya".

Posted by Ory on Apr-16-2004 18:09:

Sure doesn't sound like it. For "Gonna getcha" to match with the track the "Gonna" would have to be stretched. So it would be "Gooonna getcha".

"Goin' tah getcha" sounds much better.

I don't know what version of Lizard you've been listening to, but all four version I've heard (all by Mauro) all definately say Gonna Get Ya.

Also, check out these single covers:

Posted by Ory on Apr-16-2004 18:21:

Oakey's Gatecrasher '99 version and the Claxixx Remix both go something like "sssGoin' tah get'cha!".

Posted by Ory on Apr-16-2004 18:25:

I've listened to it quite a few times now and I guess it could be either "Goin'" or "Gonna".

I'm listening to it now, and I still think it says "Gonna", although he does stretch the word out a bit, and doesn't quite say "It's gonna".

Posted by Ory on Apr-16-2004 18:35:

Yar, well, anyway... what the hell do the male vocals say? It doesn't make sense. lol

Posted by djeternal2004 on Apr-16-2004 20:44:

"sworn to get ya " is what i guessed it sounded like when i first heard it but i guess the title disproves that

It's amazing what a decent soundsystem can do to for a track - def one to be played at high volume!

use common sense, its like saying african-americans earn the same amount of money as euro-americans, it might be a morally right thing to say but its not true

Posted by Salem on Apr-17-2004 01:38:

i always thought that it was "im coming to get ya"

Posted by mndeg on Apr-17-2004 05:37:
