Ok guys...I am having to cancel my participation in a meetup because I need the extra time to do laundry for my 2 trips that I have to pack for.

I have to fly for work to Dollywood on sunday, then fly back on thursday morning. Then thursday at 6 pm I leave to go to Sydney, NSW Australia for a week (United has super fare deal and I found a hotel right across the harbour from the opera house for 39 a night ) so I am not going to be able to go into the city for the show until later in the evening.

I will still most likely be at WOW but I will have to see you all at the club.

Ya Ya I know.....if I do make it I guess I will buy the three people who said they were going each a drink.

But at this point it looks very doubtful that I will be able to make it.

I have about 5 loads of laundry to do as well as two sets of bags to pack and other misc pre travel things to do, and I just got back from my mom's down in Champaign.

If I do make it it won't be till like midnight or 1 and I will just do the cover at the door thing for once.

If I don't make it I hope everyone has a great time, and I will see folks at (if I am not too jet lagged or too poor) either Picotto or Marco V when I get back from the land of Men At Work.

God damn I am so stoked about this vacation.

i think the meetup idea got bunked. i'm guessing people will be behind the DJ booth near that bar, since that's where i usually happen to run into people. i'm sorta feelin a 3rd floor mood tonight, chillin out on the couches. we'll see though.

Same here, think I'm gonna chill up there.

I'll be wearing a white collared shirt, dark jeans. tall thin guy.
I'll check out the bar behind the dj booth. Hopefully I'll find some of you guy(s)

Way Out West was spectacular. Omi has a wonderfully angelic voice behind those breakbeats and airy-sounding synths. Way Out West really has a unique sound and their own genre of music. My first time seeing them in Chicago.

Some memorable tunes of the evening that I can remember (I could have some of these wrong) were: Chab - My Memory (Romania Edit Mix), Way Out West - Apollo, Steve Porter - Definite Form, and I think I heard a Sasha tune in there somewhere, towards the beginning. Vision wasn't that crowded either which is a bonus sometimes when you're trying to enjoy one of your favorite Djs.

Although, I didn't recognize any TAs and your faces. I was hoping to finally meet a few of you, but I don't know what you guys look like. Maybe next time. I'll be @ SoundBar Friday night for Lawler and Fortier if all goes well with my work. Nonetheless, Way Out West kicks ass! I even got Nick Warren's autograph
