Bah....Tiesto is by far the most diverse DJ you'll ever hear. Get him down for 6 hours and then you have something to compare against. Anyway...
What a rockin night at Room...Tiesto OMFG!! was all I said when I saw him in the booth. Had to quickly run up to the front (where the rest of the TA's were
)
It's funny that when I wrote Tiesto a message about two tracks I wanted to hear, he nodded at me and grabbed my hand and pointed to the CDJ(he was already cueing it up)...hehe...it was "walkin on clouds" by him of course off of his new "Just be" sampler...I love that track! and then.....I spammed my promo CD further by handing it to him....he took it, and rammed it straight into his bag...hehe
JPL, mate, you shoulda played after Tiesto as it woulda been perfect with how you started....clayface - great opener !
Andrew Padula lost most of the crowd, although to his credit, imagine you had to play after Tiesto, the worlds number 1?
Free entry, free heinekens, free Tiesto, Tong and Davoli !!
u could say it was a great FREE night ..
oh yerr and... SAHARAA !!!
pics!!!
(or stfu)
+1
What a ripper of a nite, I would have paid to go!!! even better to see Tiesto brought ROOM down for FREE, the place went off. F&*$ this guy really knows how to get the crowd goin, its amazing its like he has a piece of string attached to everyone...
AMAZING even those that didnt like electronic music enjoyed the nite, it was great to see my friend who so does not like tekkers dancing along
The nite was slightly dampened by tiesto, sleezing some girls ??? what the F*** was all that about, doesnt he have a serious girlfriend of like 4 or 5 yearS???

You got the "world's number 1 DJ" and free entry and free heinekens before 11pm... I am astonished...
I would've thought that it would be so packed that you wouldn't be allowed back in if you got out, yet matt.h you say there was no queue to get back in...??? Is it because the event wasn't heavily advertised (or at all), and only those in-the-know were present?
A friend was in Melbourne that day and I told her to go but she didn't... she only came to the Sydney show. If I was there I would've taken this unbelievable opportunity!
we got there a little after 10 and the line was huge already.
the place packed out, but that was it, there weren't people waiting for others to leave so they could get in.
and yeh i'd agree that it wasn't very publicised that tong and tiesto were going to be playing a set each, some of the people i spoke to in the line knew that they would be there judging the comp, and just assumed that they would be playing a set.
