again, I didnt see the game because I was working, but I sure did hear us score!!!

Obviously my Flames in 5 prediction faltered, but really...this is great for the city, and for hockey in general.
I don think there could be a better way to end with a low salary team or 2 going to the final, and possibly taking it right before the CBA comes up.
It shows some interesting points about a salary cap, and how amout paid does not equal better team.

I think the Flames will win tonight because it's such a useless night for partying. Both of the other series' were won on Mondays. Wednesday is just as bad. I wish they could clinch on a Friday or Saturday night. That would be insane and I wouldn't be dead for my 9 to 5.

Props to the Flames. They had the toughest possible route getting this far, having to go through the winners of each Western conference division. No team in the playoffs this year have shown the drive and work-ethic that the Flames have, and with Iginla and Kipper (debatably the best forward and best goalie in the league) at their brilliant best, my money's on Calgary to take the Cup.

philly is putting up a fight, and tampa has been phenominal, although they haven't had similar calibre opponents as the flames have had, their 4-0 sweep of montreal, was however, impressive to say the least.

i say flames vs lightning finals, flames in 6.
