super mario world is the ultimate 2d-platform game ever, i remember first time completing absolutely everything. brilliant game, also donkey kong country 1 & 3 (dkc2 was weak & boring), super metriod, contra 3*, street fighter 2 (+ the version that had cammie & deejay in it), killer instinct, super bomberman, and loads more, i still regret selling it, ah well, i still have my nes left
*i think that was the real name for it, in europe it was dubbed to super probotector alien rebels, and that is the silliest name i've ever heard

The street fighter you refer to is Super Street Fighter II The New Challengers. I still have the CD Soundtrack to the Arcade counter-part, so what I used to do was lower the music of the SNES one and play the CD while playing the game, so I would be fighting to the REAL music instead. 
If it was one thing I HATED it was poor arcade translations. KI.....ummmm, no comment...too much taken out due tolack of power, same goes for KI Gold for N64.

God the SNES was THE system for kick ass RPG games. There is no modern RPG I have played that beats Super MArio RPG that game just rox my sox.

. I always played with koopa-troopa or toad, and once in a while with donkey kong jr =). Ohhhh, could I just feel the thrill again after winning the Rainbow Cup (with that crazy rainbow map, so hard!)!!

My SNES is plugged into the telly down stairs. Has been for about 4 months now.
NES and SNES are gangster! Hopefully I will pick up some titles over the summer when I have more time.
My SNES is one of the reasons I can't wait to get back to the States. I still need to finish FF III, and I wouldn't mind busting out Super Mario RPG again. Man though, when I was a kid I had the crappiest SNES games...i.e. Michael Jordan in the Windy City, Aero the Acrobat, etc. I did have Donkey Kong Country 3, that game was well good. Had to use a birthday present to get ahold of Super Mario RPG. FF III I just finally found in a gaming shop last semester. I didn't feel like going through eBay, so I had to wait it out a while. Now, if I could just get ahold of Chrono Trigger...
Edit: heh damn also just remembered that I have Link to the Past, damn that game is great. I also have it on GBA now, but not quite the same as on the SNES.

Hmm... I don't know about that... Nintendo was pretty awesome (considering it was really the first console to take the US by storm)... but Genesis had some kick ass games too! Tough choice... I've had pretty much EVERY consolde except 3DO so that's a tough one for me.

that Bomb on a leash with Baby Mario & Luigi that barks and those 50ft Bowser Shells are fucking hilarious, Im playing that game when I get home from work! I'm at work this morning doing weekend cover and its so quiet, I like
mario kart dor the snes is mint, and the gamecube version also, but for me, i've played the n64 version way to much, so that's my fav one, plus i feel like the n64 version is like the snes version just new courses and some updates on the graphic
