yer, its not only dolphins.
a few other groups of animals, including monkeys, have sex for pleasure and for other things.
mainly social groups, have sex for establishing heirachy (make love not war), when they are bored, and to celebrate; ie finding a new source of food. also, when there are not enough males (and rarely not enough females), the females will sometimes also engage in sexual acts together.

that would be sweet. i'd go around killing snakes cos thats what badgers do. and then after that i dunno, maybe lie down for a bit and then eat some krill or whatever they eat. yeh, that would be sweet.

I'm kinda attached to them... even if I didn't feed them for a couple of weeks.. and I did try to leave them at our last house for the new tenants but the real estate made me go get them :P
I mean I have put them through alot and they still keep kickin! Magical little things they are. What a life tho.. swimming around in a tank eating pond scum all day and mating for up to 24hrs at a time.
