Oh, nooo... ESP, FPP, POD, MOD - Blah! It's all BS to me!
Actually, Id have to say that 341 pizza takes the cake. F*ckin tools that are all 16 years old that have NO respect for ANYBODY whatsoever.....
the worst part, the Supervisors are even WORSE!!!!
PURE F*CKING TOOLS! A BUNCH OF BAFFOONS!
I have to say all customer service is shit. Anywhere I go I am treated like I am a moron, or just badly in general.
But I work in customer service, so I know what it is like to deal with the bullshit half the customers come up with.
Although I hate to admit this, I work in a gas station. I get customers freaking on me about the gas prices all the time. WHAT THE FUCK DO I HAVE TO DO WITH IT?!?!?!? It's not like I decided to change it to 94.9! Fucking morons! I know it sucks that it's that high, I have to pay it too, but do you really have to reem me out because of it?
Or I will get the assholes, that no matter how hard you try to please them, they get angry, or will be completely rude. I am not a robot, and I hate having things demanded from me. What ever happened to please and thank you?
Sometimes I feel like telling people to take their business elsewhere because I just don't want to put up with them. It's stressful to deal with someone really negative or cranky, and you are expected to be all cheery back to them.
I am much more willing to try harder to serve people when they treat me with respect and dignity. If you are going to be a fucking prick, than you can deal with it right back.
For god sakes, half the people in customer service are getting $7.15 anyways! Like that's going to encourage them to try harder!
So, in conclusion, I think it all boils down to the customers, and the managers! If businesses offered their employees more opportunity to move up, or earn more an hour, they would try harder. And if customers would just remember to be polite and courteous to their servers, they will be served better.
Edit: Oh and I suggest not pissing off the people who are making your food...

I'd agree with bliss'. There has to be some interest and general signs of life from the customer, otherwise you're just dragging down someone's already painfully boring and underpaid day.
Also note: People tend to act favorably to those who smile. It's strange.
lol I just discovered the funniest thing about where I work...check this out

degree in intergrity...go fuck yourself.
Of course, it is a salesperson's job to ask you if you need help but if that salesperson pushes you and hounds your ass till you feel so uncomfortable that you don't want to buy anything, then I believe the salesperson is as fault not the customer. That was my example at Moores, I went into with the idea to buy a suit and I was going to buy a suit but when the salesperson keep hounding me and bothering me, I lost interest and left the store. I bought the suit at another store and the salesperson lost my business, their fault. The best salespeople walk a fine line between hounding but not pissing you off.
You're missing the point. Fault wasn't being argued salesperson vs. customer, it is salesperson vs. management. Don't chastize (implicitly or explicitly) because they weren't trained properly.
go tell mgmt, "your salespeople suck, and it's your fault, therefore, I'm going somewhere else to spend my $350". with those actions, you get a discount, a new training regimen (of some sort), and a thank you from the manager.
mr. business degree, if you learn one thing from all this, learn this:
DO NOT ADDRESS THE SOLUTIONS, PREVENT THE PROBLEM.
